Food was flavourful and portions were big. (I had the eggs benedict )
In terms of accessibility there is a huge incline which will make it challenging for people with disabilities and seniors to enter the restaurant independently, especially without having automatic push button doors. Also I didn’t see any wheelchair accessible bathrooms in the facility, and the men’s toilet area did not have any grab rails.
All an all a great place, however it might not be that accessible for you.
Their daily soups and specials are yummy.
The chicken and rice and Italian wedding soups always satisfy.
I tried the stuffed peppers tonight, they were delicious and huge. I had to take one home because I was so full.
The breakfast menu is perfect .Best breakfast in town! Big variety of omelets, Belgian waffles, pancakes, corned beef and hash, etc. They even had a sugar-free syrup option for my French toast!
They have lunch and dinner specials that have a homestyle flavor that will make you feel right at home. Nice selection of deserts, including homemade pies and cakes. Great place to take the family or dine alone. Staff is down to earth and extremely friendly. It’s one of my favorite breakfast spots in Massachusetts. ALL DAY BREAKFAST!
Pancakes were golden and perfectly fluffy, they probably make their batter, it’s sweet. My sausage patties and scrambled eggs were excellent. The syrup they use goes perfectly with the pancakes. We also had a cheeseburger club, which was also tasty and made very well! Fries were a good size and a nice crispy outside.
This place is like a country diner with a really expansive menu. They make everything here apparently. Breakfast all day. Friendly neighborhood spot. Good service and hospitality.
Highly recommended!
The front counter still has the same stools from way back when, the pies are as good as ever, and the servers always have a smile (and maybe even remember your order). It hasn’t changed much over the years and that’s exactly what makes it perfect.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner… doesn’t matter what you order, it all comes with that small-town warmth that’s hard to find anymore. For me, walking into Lucky Strike is like a homecoming. It reminds me of Sunday mornings with my mom simple, cozy, and full of heart.
If you’re new to the area or just haven’t been in a while, go. Sit at the counter. Order a slice of pie. You’ll get it
