This is one of the best low key spots in Boulder. The flavors and seasoning is always on point, tremendous momos and the lunch special during the week can’t be beat. Beef Mothuk shown below is delicious as well

It was such a cold day and me and my sisters were craving for jhol momo and we decided to try Tibet Restaurant, and honestly, it felt just like being back in Nepal. The vibe was cozy and familiar, and the food was too good 10/10. We ate the mothuk and gyathuk nyapo it was warm, flavorful, and exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for authentic taste and comfort food, this place is perfect. Highly recommended!!

I actually ended up meeting Gautum, the restaurant’s owner in an Uber and we instantly bonded. He was amazing to talk to and he ended up giving me a coupon to visit his restaurant.

Safe to say, later that night I made the trek down there and ordered the chicken Momo’s. As a Nepali who has been craving authentic Momo’s every time I come back to the states, but has never been satisfied, I was shocked. You could tell the dough was handmade and that the aachar was elite.

On top of that, they gave complimentary tea that instantly warmed me up. It felt just like the chai I make at home. If you’re in town, please stop by! It’s a little hole in the wall that made me feel welcomed as soon I went in!

A good place to have Tibetian/Nepalese food.
The place is not very ambient or exquisite. Very less seating area.
The food tastes nice and is at a reasonable price.
I tried their veg momos and veg fried noodles and both are good.

Tibet Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Boulder. The food is consistently flavorful — especially the momos and thentuk noodle soup, which taste warm, fresh, and comforting every time. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the small cozy atmosphere makes the meal feel even more homey. I also really appreciate the generous portions and great value, especially compared to many other Boulder restaurants. Whether you’re craving something hearty or just want an affordable, satisfying meal, this place hits the spot. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Absolutely love this place—it’s become one of our favorites! This was our fifth visit, and the food is just as amazing every time. We had the Thukpa and Thentuk, and both dishes tasted like they came straight from the Himalayas—warm, comforting, and full of rich flavors. The Thentuk is always a winner, with soft, chewy noodles and a hearty broth that feels like home. The noodles are top-notch and always cooked perfectly. On top of that, Dai was so kind and generous, making us feel truly welcomed. The food and the hospitality together make this place really special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Himalayan flavors!

My partner and I come here all the time. This is our favorite restaurant in Boulder, been coming for years. The food is incredible and every time we come my partner gets the beef dumpling soup (mothuk) and I usually get the chili chicken or chicken fried noodles. Although I’ve tried most things on the menu and they’re all great. Really appreciate the friendliness of the people and the chai!

Tibet Kitchen in Boulder is hands down one of the best places to eat in town! The food is full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked every single time.

The Momos are out of this world — soft, juicy, and bursting with authentic Tibetan spices. You can tell they’re made with love and care. The dipping sauce adds just the right kick!

The Chicken Chow Mein is equally delicious — noodles cooked to perfection, tender chicken, and crispy vegetables all tossed in a perfectly balanced sauce. Every bite feels like comfort food at its best.

The staff are super friendly, and the cozy vibe makes it an easy favorite. If you’re in Boulder, don’t miss this hidden gem. Easily one of the best spots for Tibetan food anywhere!
