This place was totally cool. I highly recommend it for a date night or an outing with a group of friends. They serve food and drinks. This place is good for all ages. It’s located in the heart of Lord right across the street from Anheuser Bush. It was an originally a prison which they have converted into a board game themed restaurant. There were over 200 games that could be played by the customers the service was fast and friendly. There was no way to be seated. I highly recommend this place.

I’m only visiting St. Louis due to some week long training for work, came here with some friends and had a great time! $3 each person added to your bill for unlimited time playing with their boardgames we had fried ravioli some sandwiches and drinks. All were great (you can keep the duck that comes w the duck drink which was sweet, pure alcohol but doesn’t taste like it has any .10/10) wish I had this place back home. Highly recommend. They have the main floor but also have private rooms. Our server was great wish I could remember his name he spoke Spanish . Also they give military discount if I’m ever back in the area will be visiting again! Also the area around it is pretty.

This place genuinely may be my new favorite place to dine in Saint Louis! Not only was the food absolutely banging for our whole party, (which seems to be rare at establishments that’s focus is the drinks/atmosphere or gimmick) but the drinks were fantastic, the board game selection was endless and well kept and the service was beyond amazing! The building itself has very interesting history and man even the bathrooms were nice. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place and recommend it to absolutely everybody! The manager and workers were all super friendly and helpful too!

This was my first time here, absolutely gorgeous decor, decorated for Halloween, amazing food, fun drinks and the bartenders staff was awesome!!
The only slightly negative was when we finally got a table (super busy, and we could see why!) we were sad to leave our awesome bartender, especially when we sat down and our waitress was not very friendly at all. But we were already vibing. So she wasn’t bringing us down!

I loved the vibes of this place! As a board game lover this is a great place to go with friends and have a fun / chill night. The atmosphere was really nice. Definitely join the waitlist on busy nights! — As for the food, the poke bowl was not for me. The rice was sadly really wet making it hard to eat. But the service was AMAZING! Our server could tell we hardly touched our bowl and offered us a replacement. So we tried the hot & spicy noodles. And they were really enjoyable. I really appreciated the gesture from our server. If you haven’t been here and you love board games, this is a must go!! If I lived in STL I would come here as often as I could!

Super cute idea. There are private game rooms inside repurposed jail cells and then there is a big open game room with a bunch of tables and probably 1000 games! The games are organized into categories and the staff was also very helpful. They also serve food and drinks. It was a ton of fun and the building was super cool.

This was my first time visiting Pieces since they moved to their newer location, so it’s been a hot minute. First off, I love that building and always have. They fit in there very well and really take advantage of the space. The service is pretty good, and I love that they give you little signs to raise when you need help, want a game suggestion, or are ready to pay. I do wish the servers where a smidge more attentive with things like water refills and clearing tables, but it’s not a major issue. For the most part, it’s still a neat place to drop in every once in awhile or for special occasions.
Now the one major downside that will unfortunately keep me from going back on a regular basis, their prices. Across the board things just feel expensive, especially for what they are. The food is better than most standard affair similar to it but I’m a little stunned it cost me a total of $78 for an appetizer, a sandwich, and two drinks. Drink prices are not great, and kind of disappointing. If you’re a sober adult your NA choices are mocktails that are mostly sugar, or a 12oz NA beer for $7.
I really wanted to love Pieces again, but for the price I rather go get a nice dinner and then head back to a friends for games after. I understand half the appeal is their game library, but there’s no way to justify that price on a regular basis just for access to a library of games.

Super cute spot to try out and very well kempt as a little gem here in St.Louis. I went here for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised at the decor and the atmosphere here super cozy for a 2-6 person get together. They have an array of board games, a bar with cute premade delicious drinks and even the food is good. I mentioned it was my birthday and I was able to get their redemption of a “birthday” shot pictured below. But yeah from Uno to probably twister you can get any game you like and play as ling as youd like. 5/5 very good try the chicken sliders you wont regret it

We were looking for a fun night Out during this cold streak. This place won in all categories! The food selection is perfect and everything tasted delicious. The cocktails are so fun and yummy and they have a great beer selection. Obviously, the best part is the games selection. My only suggestion would be to add a winners shot to the cocktail menu… I can appreciate the losers shot but there should also be a winners shot because that just elevates the level of competition of gameplay amongst friends.
