It turns out the best taco place in the area has been close to me all along. You don’t have to fly to México to get the “real” deal—it’s right here in Ypsi!

Sure, it may not be a 100% exact replica, but their tacos are simply unmatched. I ordered the Tripa, Lengua, and Asada, and I have no complaints

I’ll definitely stop by whenever I’m in the Ann Arbor area. Totally worth the price!

Lovely restaurant!! The cashier lady was so sweet! Wonderful customer service skills. I really like the vibe of the restaurant. Real good taste in music too. The food? AMAZING!!! Their tamales and tacos are a must try.

Ordered doordash. As we are eating, my cousin finds a band-aid in her food. Now, I may have overlooked it when ordering but I didnt see “used band-aid” as one of the ingredients. Called to let them know and the lady tells me “well we all wear gloves and I check every order before it goes out. Lol well you should be fired because you missed it. Also, I guess band-aids only go on hands now?

We ordered jalapeno and cheese tamales, and when we got home discovered there was a mystery meat inside half of them. We threw them out! The tacos were okay but pork and beef were too dry. Sauces are good. No free chips and salsa. Not so great for the higher prices than other Taquerias.

Good, but unfortunately overrated. Barbacoa quesadilla became almost immediately soggy from grease (my fault for ordering it?). Chorizo and pastor tacos not as flavorful as I had hoped. Excellent, friendly service.

I was doubtful when paying for al pastor tacos for $3.97 each. Then , OMG i had them. THEY ARE HIUGE AND SUPER TASTY. Believe me, these tacos are the real deal. This is my new favorite taqueria!

Tried 6 different tacos and everything was good for what it costs. But their taco de carnitas and tripa are exceptional. Especially the tripa was the best taco I’ve ever had in my entire life. Another great thing about this place is their corn tortilla. It smells like heaven. Their price is another good thing. Tripa is 5 stars, carnitas and pork belly 4.5, others 3.5~4.0.
