I’ve been here three times total every time has been quite an experience different taste every time. I tried something different one day. I had them turkey specials that’s on Friday. Very delicious. The jalapeño chicken is incredible chicken fried steak. Also delicious today was the meatloaf and it was a big hearty portion And they have different pies on different days are made from scratch.

This place is a hidden gem! The service is super fast and really friendly, which is always a plus. I love how cozy and homey the interior feels, it’s such a nice vibe. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, especially the chicken fried steak – so good! And don’t even get me started on their fresh pies, they’re absolutely delicious.

Ordered a coconut creme pie to share w my kids for the holidays. The pie was always good in the past but after picking one up today, I was completely disappointed! The pie has very little meringue. This pie is shallow and not very appealing in appearance. I called the restaurant and the gentlemen who is always there said that the way the pies have always been. Not true and for the 15 dollar price point it was a total let down.
It’s a pathetic looking pie and now I know not to visit this establishment ever again.

One of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve ever eaten. Service was quick. Value priced. Outside of building not the best but the food is great. Fresh homemade French fries and bread. Good stuff! Winner multiple local contests.

Loved stopping by, great stop for the trip.
I ordered the jalapeno fish dinner which came with two sides that I chose to be Jalapeno mac-n-cheese and pickled beets.
I really loved the choice of entree had and the macaroni side, the beets were like any other beets.
The atmosphere was great, they people were nice, but the tables felt crowded.
The service was medeocer, the waitress took our food and put it at the wrong table, later realizing her mistake put it on our table without changing the food out for new, clean, fresh food. If you’re concerned about hygiene for your food, I recommend to not come here.
Note: order your pie at the beginning of your meal (you can still eat it at the end, they have a little fridge to hole them), because if you don’t it will be gone, they run out quickly.

I hate to say it, but I do not understand how this chicken fried steak has won awards. Mine was bland as could be, tough, greasy, and had batter that didn’t stick to the meat. I was big-time disappointed. The mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese were good but nothing special. I did really like the broccoli casserole. The best part, though, was the homemade bread. I wonder if I’d like the jalapeño items more. Perhaps that’s where to find some flavor…
