Still some of the best spanakopita I’ve had outside of Greece. Full of spinach and feta with a deliciously flaky crust. Their homemade dressing on their Greek salad is also perfection. There is definitely a good reason this place has been open and successful for all these years.

2nd visit. Alex’s special pizza and Lagsana are super! It turned out that my favorite pizza place is within a 15-mile radius of where I live.
Thin dough with a square cut style that can easily be seen in Missouri (known as maybe St Louis St). I especially loved the juicy herby meatball on the pizza. You could feel all the fresh ingredients’ flavor collaboration from every meal in this place.
Great tap beer is a plus!

Awesome!! Got the chicken gyro and a meat pizza. I couldn’t stop eating it. Fresh ingredients. Pizza crust was so light and flaky. Great flavor,. And so much chicken on the gyro. Will definitely stop by again!!!

Love the flavor of the pizza, the meat pizza.
It is thin pizza, it is not NY thin crust but it is thin!
The sauce flavors is perfection, to my taste! I thought I was gonna have just two slides, but they cross slides to the rectangle and square pieces, ate more than I should!
The cheesecake was wonderful too!
Love the thin soft and rich cream cheese crust! No pretentious, no coconut flavor!
Very steady flow of customers coming in and out. Almost always to full on the big room!

Always good service. Very good food. I particularly like the pick your own hibachi. The cook always does a nice job. (Not sure how this review ended up under Alex’s. Though I do think Alex’s has great food and does a wonderful job at service, the text here should have been for Ocean Buffet in St. Robert, MO. Likewise the photos starting with the soup and sushi should be for Ocean)

The Chef’s View

I haven’t been yet, but here it is some of the best in the world I am reviewing it ahead of time just so I don’t forget about it and can come back to my review and remember where it is!! Next time I come through Rolla on my way to St Louis I will definitely be making a stop here. So excited!!!

Update, I came!!!!

I have been waiting for over a year to try this hidden gem. I had a friend tell me they have traveled the world over and this was their favorite pie.

I will say it was delicious The crust puffed up a little with great crunch. I ordered extra marinara on the side to dip it in. I did the specialty pizza on half and the meat lovers on the other side like my server Kelly suggested and glad I did. The pizza is so thin on the bottom and I love it!!! Only thing I would personally do is add a little bit more salt to the dough, but I’m sure the clientele love it!!!! And for good reason

I love the crispy hand made cheese ball appetizer. If you are ever traveling through give them a try!

The most important thing in a restaurant is food. The price is really high, however, the pizza does not meet even basic quality standards. The crust is soggy and mushy, the sauce is plain and devoid of flavor, the overwhelming amount of really low quality cheese, huge amount of oil. The pizza clearly was not baked under right temperature and is just disgusting in both texture and taste. I couldn’t believe that could be served in a restaurant.
