We ate here twice during our stay. The mojitos are amazing with a sugar cane stalk. The Cubans are big enough to split. Our brunch was steak and eggs and the bigger breakfast. I had cheese croquettes that are flour and cheese rolled together and friend. Eat them!

We stopped by after the beach for a small midday bite. From the outside, the place looked beautiful and it was very quiet, so we thought having a light snack would be perfectly fine.
The service was friendly, but there was a slightly strange and hard-to-describe vibe. It felt a bit awkward when we ordered only an appetizer, as if that wasn’t really appreciated — even though the place was almost empty. It left an odd impression.
The non-alcoholic cocktail was nicely presented, the guacamole was excellent, and the food overall was very good. When I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interior design. As we left, another staff member said goodbye in a very warm and friendly way, which helped end things on a positive note.
Good food and a lovely setting, but the overall atmosphere felt a bit inconsistent.

We were looking for one last meal in Miami before departing to Michigan. We needed seafood and Cuban sandwiches and we found what we were looking for! A delicious lunch on a beautiful day!

Kate our server was wonderful with our food allergies. We got happy hour drinks. The mojito was on point. Pork bites succulent. Corn tamales one of the best ever. Roast chicken was a holy heck. Great live music Friday night. Highly recommend

If you have one night on South Beach, eat at Havana 1957. All the atmosphere and flavors of Cuba right on the beach! Excellent mojitos and the best chicken I’ve ever eaten. Sol was our server and she was marvelous – she offered excellent suggestions and was attentive without being overly involved.

Food was great, atmosphere was nice and welcoming; side note came with large party and not sure if it is a regular occurrence but “street” performers did a magic tricks and another attempted to sell flowers, nothing crazy but not really expected or requested.

This place has the best bars and barman, so good we went twice in the same night. Don’t miss their hand made drinks and they have a fantastic happy hour. We didn’t have food but did see some great plates of food going past us. They also have live music during the weekend.

The vibes here are amazing. There is indoor seating, where you’re in this really cool, dark cigar/karaoke lounge and outdoors you’ll enjoy Ocean Drive and the vibes there.
Food was excellent – I personally highly recommend the Cuban Sampler. Service was excellent. And the place was very clean!
The mojito bucket was amazing too!
Be sure to be aware and cognizant of service charges and tax if you’re from out of town. The service charge was 20% of our entire bill.

We saw there was a lot of empty seats and should have taken it as a sign. The food was very average and it could of been overlooked had the service been better. We asked to be seated outside and I pointed directly at a large open area along Ocean Drive and was told ok. We followed the host to a different area and I said I requested over there to which I was told “the owner has that reserved for him and his guests’ which wouldnt have been a problem except half way through our lunch they started seating tables of two over in that area. Its literally half of the outside dining area as you can see in the picture. We were there about 90 mins and most of the tables stayed empty. The cuban was not served on cuban bread more like a toasted bun. The fries were served cold and as soon as our food was served we never saw a waiter again. When the came to start grabbing our empty plates to hurry us out we had 4 empty water glasses an empty coke glass, my beer was empty and my wife’s sangria was empty. All had been that way for 20+ mins. So finally we see our waiter after I had to ask for a table clearer to bring our bill and he hands me the tablet to sign for the bill and has the nerve to say the tip is included any addl is appreciated! So a $25 tip to not sit in the area I requested even though they sat other people there and to never have our drinks filled. Tourist trap on South Beach.
