Shorty’s is a neighborhood restaurant specializing in fresh homemade food prepared in an authentic wood fired oven. No freezer, no microwave. The menu offers a variety of pizzas that can be made up with toppings of your choice, or ordered from our house specialty pizzas. Toppings range from the basics to the unique, including (but not limited to) cilantro, capers, walnuts, and eggplant. Our entrees vary from our house favorite cedar planked salmon, and a 9 oz. gourmet burger special that changes weekly. Our homemade foccaccia sandwiches are to-die for! We bake the bread fresh daily. A variety of creative salads are also available, including a beet salad with goat cheese and walnuts, and a chef salad with our in-house smoked turkey.
Music-themed wood-fired pies in an informal, barn-like building with occasional live bands.

Reviews
The pizza took almost 40min to come out, and it was just ok when it did. Undercooked and the center was soupy with toppings sliding off. Staff gave a little discount for the wait, which was nice as we didn’t complain or ask for that. Even with the discount, it was $50 to share a pizza, a small salad and one beer. And it was nothing to write home about.
Overall, not very good, not very bad. Good service. Maybe busy nights are a better time to go.
We were hoping to beat the traffic by arriving early (5pm) on a Friday but it filled up quickly! And for good reason! The service was great and the food was fantastic. Our pizza (The Cure) was so good that my husband and I polished it off. We haven’t enjoyed a pizza that much in years. My kids loved their personal pizza and chicken quesadilla. The s’mores pizza was good but too messy and the key lime pie was more sweet than sour (which was not our preference).
I knocked a star because the wait for our food was exceedingly long – I understand that many people arrived AFTER we were seated but it shouldn’t take a family of 4 two hours to eat dinner at 5pm. We also ordered a cheese quesadilla but they brought out a chicken quesadilla. Because it took so long to receive our food, it was not feasible for us to send it back since my son was so hungry.
Either way, we had a great experience and would return (just not on a Friday or weekend). Highly recommend!
I would not recommend anybody to dine here. Me and my family came here because it had been a while since we have dined here in 3 months, anyway that is not the reason for this review The reason is because as I said me and my family came to to dine here on 3/7/26. It was absolutely awful. Our pizzas were burnt so much we could not taste what was on the pizza, not only that but the toppings were very minimal if any, we did not want to have to send them back because we knew it would have been a wait for us to get new pies. We probably more than likely will not return based on our experience. I will be leaving reviews on all platforms ( Google, yelp, etc) because of our bad experience
