We opted to eat outside on a beautiful fall evening. This restaurant has an intensive menu and reasonably priced seafood. Our waiter, Richard, has worked here since 2008 and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. Food is copious and tasty. We especially enjoyed the branzino and Italian seafood paella. All desserts with the exception of the ice-cream are made here.

landed at Reagan Airport on Thursday to attend a friend’s wedding on Friday and was looking for a great place to eat. I decided to try Chef Tony’s—and I’m so glad I did.
The crab soup was delicious and just the right portion size, especially since I didn’t want anything too heavy. The oysters were large and fresh. I originally wanted the snapper, but since they were out, I went with the bronzino, and it was a great substitute—cooked perfectly. The crab cake was packed with real crab meat and full of flavor. The potatoes were seasoned just right and very tasty. Even the side of bread (which they ask if you’d like) reminded me of something nostalgic—simple and satisfying, like an elevated version of something you’d enjoy as a kid.
I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town.

We didn’t know what to expect. But the food was prepared extremely well and tasted like quality. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner with my wife, we will definitely come back. The service was very attentive from all the staff, and Franco was an excellent waiter! Prepare to be impressed with your meal and your service!

Located in the bottom of the promenade apartment building. Very good food at a reasonable price. Wait staff was not very attentive. Rarely came by to see if we needed anything like a refill. We had to flag another server down for dessert.

I wanted fresh seafood and pasta. I wasn’t disappointed! Dan, our server was knowledgeable and accommodating.
We had the creamy crab soup which was perfectly seasoned and not too rich.
The surf and turf pasta was incredible. The filet was tender and the seafood was perfectly cooked. The sauce was so flavorful and not so much that it overpowers the other flavors.
Lastly I had the Dads crab with angel hair pasta. So delicious!! I paired with a bottle of Apothic crush.
The place itself was hard to find -on the main floor of a high rise condo. But sooo glad we found it. Definitely worth the hunt. We will go again when in the DC area for sure.

It’s a very complex feeling about this place.
The food generally good. Very interesting location in an Apartment building lobby. But our experience was very poor, we basically got ignored most of the time there, got 2 out of 3 wrong for our orders. Literally took over 20-30mins for a sauce.

This place is great with lots of options to choose from! My family loves seafood, and this is one of our go-to spots for it. I personally always go for the filet or the chicken, and both are always delicious. The highlight of every meal for me, though, is the chocolate flourless cake—absolutely incredible!

I planned a last minute Celebration of life luncheon at Chef Tony’s. My mother lived in the Promenade and went down many nights for the carrot soup. Tony was very accommodating in setting up a menu. The food was perfect, the staff was excellent and all the guests loved it. I highly recommend Chef Tony’s!

Ok so this place was a little gem that we were so happy to find! The oysters were amazing! And I had the best Creme Brul`e I’ve had yet! The only one negative for atmosphere was that it was a little difficult to park as this is located in an area with shared parking and part of some gated community so we waited about 20 min for someone to come out. This place should really come out of it’s location it has so much potential for growth!
