Our friends had hyped this restaurant, but we were very disappointed…
➡️Service was horrible- only kiosk ordering, so the line for the two kiosks was long
➡️Ordering from the kiosk means that you can’t order a combo meal- everything is a la carte. And you can’t get a senior discount
➡️Bathrooms were very dirty
➡️Don’t waste your money on the gluten free bun- as soon as it gets any sauce on it, it starts to disintegrate

This place could definitely use an interior design update/remodel. This one has remained unchanged for decades. The food and value is slightly better than some fast food places. However, it can be inconsistent depending on what you order off the menu and what you’re presented with based on prior visits. The bathrooms are clean and commodious.

Ceasar salads were my most favorite here, the only reason why I come is for their Ceasar salads and milkshakes, but today I was so disappointed with their new salad portion size reduction, and also them not adding cheese on it made it more disappointed. Beef-A-Roo please bring back your Ceasar salads how they were originally done.

The parking is very plentiful and convenient with multiple handicap spaces right near the door. There are table and chairs or booths of multiple sizes both indoors and outdoors to choose from, they are all pretty close together however.
All the people we came in contact with who were working behind the service counter were very friendly and moved very quickly to get orders out.
The food was pretty ordinary sandwich place food. I will say though the onion rings had sort of a burnt or not so fresh oil flavor. One of the sandwiches was ordered with no tomatoes yet there were 3 tomato slices on the sandwich it wasn’t a big deal it was just removed however if something is ordered a certain way that is the way it should be served and the cheese fries had cheese all down the one side of the cup.

The staff there were very friendly as I had never been there before. But they were helpful and recommended a nice sandwich for me. I guess these guys are franchising and branching out now. Good for them. Hope they get to Kenosha, Wisconsin eventually. Right by the Illinois border by Lake Michigan.

Horrible service. Such a shame. Used to be one of the premier fast food restaurants in Rockford. Now all locations in Rockford/Loves Park have went way downhill. Only 2 cars in front of me when I ordered. Took 20 minutes to get an order of chicken strips and fries.food quality has become inconsistent. Been eating here for over 40 years

Cheese on the cheese fry’s tastes terrible. The south alpine location is still using frozen patties. All the other locations are doing smash patties. I took three bites out of the burger and cheese fries and threw it all in the garbage. Would not recommend this location.

Beef-a-roo breakfast is a win. I hate fast food, unless it’s breakfast. The eggs were fresh and flavorful. I could tell the ingredients were made to order. I also enjoyed the pancake puffs, they had a little crispness to them. Service is always friendly and wait was <10 minutes.

Excellent food as always! I usually get the roast beef… My usual… Usually… But I got the Wild West Burger which was awesome too!! Paired with cheesy fries and a decadent chocolate shake really hit the spot!! I love the whole factory industrial vibe at this location!!! I want my house to look like this!!!
