Delicious place. Great food. Stained glass light fixtures and a good variety on the menu. Very chill little hidden gem. I got the steak and eggs sandwich which was great. The fried eggplants were also delicious. Nice service too. I would highly recommend.

Very nice vibe with an eclectic menu. The folks serving were friendly and welcoming. I had the 20th Street Omelette with a cappuccino, and the food was fresh and delicious and the cappuccino very well made and tasty.

EDITED: Originally 5 stars but they took away the build your own Som’mer rolls and I’m very upset.

Original review: This place is such a nice addition to the neighborhood! I’ve been a couple of times now, the absolute best is the build your own Som’mer roll. The environment is lovely and the service is always great

Neighborhood vietnamese american fusion cafe. Cool, cozy vibe with a dining room that has a lot of open space. But small nooks if its just the two of you coming for some brunch. Check out the specials if you’re craving something more along the traditional offering. Classic american offerings give a lot of variety to those looking to explore.

Came here on a slower weekday afternoon so I was the only person in here but that’s a disgrace given how comfy and nice the atmosphere is and how good the food is. The service is attentive but not overbearing. I ordered the shaken steak and eggs banh mi which was not your traditional banh mi but delicious nonetheless. Only critique is I wish they added jalapeno or pickled veggies for a nice crispness and spice. I also ordered their viet iced coffee which tasted exactly like I anticipated. Excited to come back and try more of their American/Vietnamese dishes with some friends to share! Prices are fair and portions are filling!

Love this place, and so happy it opened in the neighborhood! Excellent Vietnamese breakfast, and a great atmosphere. I got the hash and my wife got the breakfast sang sommer rolls. Both were great. Excited to come back for lunch!

I recently visited Hannah K Cafe, a charming new Vietnamese breakfast restaurant that just opened. Coming from New Jersey, I am always worried about looking for parking in Philly, but while there’s no parking lot, I found street parking nearby, which wasn’t too much of a hassle during my visit.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy, cute ambiance. The space is small but thoughtfully decorated, with a bright, welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you’d want to linger at with friends or family.

I had Gracie’s Crispy Fried Rice which you can have with chicken or fried tofu but since I couldn’t decide, I went with chicken and also added the fried tofu on the side which I was very satisfied about and genuinely enjoyed. The prices were also very reasonable for the portion sizes—everything was filling without breaking the bank.

The service was friendly, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was full but we didn’t have to wait long for a table. As soon as we sat down, we were recommended and served viet iced coffee. Overall, Hannah K Cafe delivers on great food, value, and a comfortable setting. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to explore more of their menu!

So so excited and happy Hannah K is in the neighborhood. We visited during their soft opening and everything on the menu looks so good it was hard to decide, from the ‘Sang Som’mer rolls to the Chao (rice porridge). Definitely recommend! They also have great vegan options.

Cozy Gem Mixing Vietnamese and Soul Food Flavors!

I’ve been to Hana K on the corner of 20th and Federal a couple of times now, and each visit has been honestly a delight. The vibe here is like a warm hug: super cozy, super inviting, just like sliding into a comfy chair on a lazy Sunday morning.

It’s walkable if you’re in Point Breeze, it’s got a clean and airy feel, and there’s plenty of seating to just relax and enjoy.

Now, the food? It’s a fantastic, creative mash-up. They’re doing this awesome fusion of Vietnamese and soul food, which is such a cool and unexpected combo. Everything I’ve tasted so far has been top-notch. Their sandwiches alone are worth a shout-out. Absolutely to die for. And that Vietnamese iced coffee will have you zooming out the door in the best possible way—it’s strong, sweet, and no joke.

Now, I’ve got to be real: the shrimp and grits, while they have a great concept, just need a little extra oomph, maybe a touch more savory love. But honestly, that’s a tiny tweak in an otherwise awesome lineup.

Overall, Hana K is a win. Come in hungry, leave happy, and definitely give that coffee a try. You won’t regret it!
