I really miss the one down in Palestine I grew up with, hurt a lot of people when they sold out for a pharmacy. This one, though, brings back so many memories, this was the 1st time I stopped by since we lost ours and couldn’t believe they got rid of the shakes either. But food was good and service was friendly.

Not what I expected. Thought it was a coffee shop, turns out it’s more like a DQ without the ice cream. Food was ok, and came out quick; kinda small portions, though. Service was great, place was immaculate. Thousand Island dressing was awful; tasted like it was made from Miracle Whip. Probably won’t go back.

They had a grill issue when we visited, bit the Grilled chicken was already prepared for the baked potato, so we ordered the chicken baked potato and one just plan, the were very good. The Service was fast, nice atmosphere and staff. Really neat restaurant!!

Last night was my 2nd time eating here. First time I ate there was for breakfast and the breakfast was awesome. Last night my son and I ate there , I got a Patty Melt and my son got for a Bacon Cheeseburger and for dessert my son got mint chocolate chip ice cream and I got Root beer float.

Everytime I come visit my East TX family I bring a friend to visit this excellent hidden treasure. Giant stuffed baked potatoes with bubbly cheese and chili, yummy homestyle burgers that are hard to find anymore and fast friendly service. They renovated since our last visit and the vintage decorations really make it feel like home.
