Applebees in the middle of Missouri. Nothing exceptionally good or bad with the late lunch I had there. Here are some high points…
I told the hostess we were in a hurry. She sat us in the vacant bar and told the bartender we were in a hurry. She managed to get us in and out without issue and provided very good service.
Half/half combo is a lighter way to go. I had a small salad and a half sandwich instead of something bigger and heavier.
Manager stopped by to check on us mid way through our meal. Big style points!
Why only 3 stars? At the end of the day it is an Applebee’s. Ricky Bobby may well have thought of it as a gourmet meal at a place that’s really special but that’s a stretch for me.

Really happy we went here. Asian chicken salad. Tomato basil soup& salad were generous and fresh/crisp. After over a week traveling the USA and sampling local food every day it was nice to know what to expect before we went in and Applebees did not disappoint. It was better than we expected and reasonably priced.

So I have an out of state license. I’m 21 and I ordered an alcoholic beverage. They tried to keep my license because it didn’t have the yellow star for the real id for flying. They even tried to take the film off my license. My partner had to educate the manager and tell her it’s not mandatory to have the star and my license is valid with or without the star. Then proceed to not give him his military discount when he knows they give it. I WILL NEVER EAT AGAIN.

Ribeye was very good, but the noodles/macaroni side was not warm, so it left a lot to be desired. Our waitress was great and very attentive, and my margarita was delicious!

Order 12oz Riley MR, it was cook okay, except cook on one side only. My partner order all u can riblets and wanted more, and got one rib on 2nd go around. Waitress acting like she wanted us out of here. Waiting on son, so we are waiting. Drinks were good.

I order a chicken sandwich with onion rings. Onion rings where nice and crisp, but was a little skimpy on how many you get (which was 5). The chicken sandwich was dry and the batter on the chicken wasn’t that good or crispy. I also had a nasty taste left in mouth, like it made it taste like dirty grease. But whatever it was it wasn’t worth the money I paid for it.

Food and drinks were good. My server was so nice, addy. i believe her name was she kept checking up on me. She was flying all over the place. Not sure if she was new but she was sweet. I enjoyed everything i had. I drive trucks so i ended up walking ♂️ there i do that from time to time just to exercise
