Nested in a bustling area, this cafe serves cuban food with a generous portions. Cafe was empty when I went on a weekend evening, almost nearing closing. I could not verify the authenticity of this cuisine as it was my first time trying it.

The flavours however, were slightly similar to Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend to get rice with beans as a side. Generous amount and exceptionally tasty. The pulled pork as the main was extremely generous.

The beef that I ordered was a tad too dry for my liking. Probably too flat. However, the flavours was amazing and I’ve never tasted anything like it. Chosen rice with beans and mashed potatoes as my sides. The mashed potatoes was large. A bit too salty for my liking.

Shrimp omelette was massive. The 2 of us couldn’t finish it and had to pack it to go. The stuffings were generous. Recommend to try if there were more people to share it.

Service was prompt and amazing. Server on duty was kind enough to entertain my kiddo. Vibe was very relaxing.

Latin Café 2000 is one of my favorite spots in Miami for authentic Cuban food. The flavors are delicious and true to their roots – from the ropa vieja and churrasco to the classic Cuban sandwich, every dish feels homemade and satisfying. Portions are generous, and you definitely get great value for your money.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect whether you’re stopping by for a cafecito and tostada in the morning or a late-night bite after a long day. Service was friendly and quick during my visit, which made the experience even better.

As a first-time visitor to Latin Cafe 2000, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to this wonderful establishment. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

Outstanding Service

The server truly made the experience memorable. Their patience and helpfulness as I navigated the menu for the first time was exceptional. It’s clear they take pride in ensuring every customer feels comfortable and well cared for, regardless of their familiarity with the cuisine.

Atmosphere & Ambiance

The vibe at Latin Cafe is exactly what you’d want from a neighborhood spot, chill, authentic, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and truly enjoy your meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

The Food: Exceptional Value

I ordered the Ropa Vieja with Moros y Cristianos and Plátanos Maduros, and every bite exceeded my expectations. The tender, flavorful shredded beef paired perfectly with the beans and rice, while the sweet plantains provided the perfect complement to the savory elements.

What impressed me most was the exceptional quality relative to the price point, especially considering the location. You’re getting authentic, well-prepared Cuban cuisine without breaking the bank.

Final Thoughts

Latin Cafe has earned a loyal customer. The combination of outstanding service, relaxed atmosphere, and exceptional food at great value makes this a standout choice. I’m already looking forward to returning to try their breakfast menu. If it’s anything like dinner, it’s going to be fantastic.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Latin cuisine in a welcoming, no fuss environment.

I’m very glad we chose here to grab lunch when we got off the metro mover. Our waitress was very nice and was able to make recommendations for us on what to eat. My mojito was delicious. The food was all great. The atmosphere was very chill. There is an outdoor area and I saw a dog and a cat there enjoying their day with their owners just like us. The fans kept all the air circulating and it wasn’t too hot. I would definitely recommend.

This is one of the coolest restaurants in Miami. The first one I went to was in Hialeah, and this one is just as delicious plus the fun downtown charm of Brikell. Seriously man, just a chill Thursday morning having some pan con bistec with nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Ended up here because it was close to the hotel. So glad I did. My wife and I really enjoyed the food, service was super friendly, but also very relaxed. Don’t expect the staff to hover, but do expect to relax and enjoy a good meal.

They brought us complementary bread. Appetizers were ham and cheese croquetas, empanadas de pollo, and ceviche de camarón. Everything was really good. And as for the entrees we shared pollo a la plancha and salmon al ajillo. Sides: Mashed potatoes and tostones with mojo. 9/10

This is our fave local spot. Food is delicious, but even better is the coffee in the mornings when Wendy greets us. Wendy is always in a great mood and super friendly. Makes the experience even better.
