A very authentic Japanese takeaway. By far the best Japanese takeaway I’ve ever had. The portions were on the small side but the taste and texture more than made up for it. The free miso soup was amazing as well. The meals are very filling and the staff were very nice. The Monday 15% off was nice as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

It’s great to see the owner reply to my previous review, and that they have taken feedback aboad to start offering crispy duck with pancakes and cucumber. My only concern is when I called up about it before the review, the price was rather high. A nearby competing shop offers a full duck for £32, but I got offered £40something. I will be happy to visit once crispy duck is on the menu… if the price is a bit more competitive. Thanks 🙂

It has been a month since my last review on this restoraunt and well I cannot fathom the amount of great meals I have had everytime I go, tonight I had another Chicken Katsu and the chicken is on point and the rice is still perfect!
100% I recommend anything from the menu at this restoraunt to excite the tastebuds and wash it down with authentic Japanese drinks which I do suggest buying a Hata while there.

First time coming today, walked in and requested a Chicken Teriyaki Donburi served with a Miso Soup.
Overall a lovely made dinner, all the food matched well with nothing overpowering, the rice was for sure something different as I never had it prepared like this, 5 stars!
The staff were also really nice and kind during the ordering, having a nice goodbye said to me on my way out adds to the experience.

Lovely friendly smiles greet us every time we collect and super reasonable price for some delicious and authentic food. I’m quite new to eating Japanese cuisine, and am intolerant to chilli, but the young lad taking the orders was patient and helped me to navigate the menu and come away with a delicious meal of chicken teriyaki donbaru, miso soup, prawn crackers and mochi balls for dessert. To round off the meal I added a Japanese soda, which came in a glass bottle sealed with a marble, adding some novelty and interest.
I will definitely be treating myself to more meals from Fuku in future, and will work my through the menu (apart from the chilli dishes )
