Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The buffet was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Jackie made us feel like we were at her house! The chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the tacos were perfectly seasoned and authentic. The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and delicious. Don’t skip the margaritas—they were perfectly mixed and refreshing!
Great service, great prices, and incredible food. This is definitely my favorite spot for Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic meal! Ask for Michelle she is the best!

My family and I came to the Lake Charles location for lunch and I ordered the flautas. Well when I received my food there was a short black hair on one of my flautas. I have red hair and my family has blonde. I had them remake it. It comes back out plated differently on a new plate and I shit you not the same food was put on the plate! The cook just tossed the flautas back in the fryer! I guess hoping the hair would just cook off. Definitely not what happened. It cooked more into the food! I paid for my kids food and we left. Service was okay but will not be going back. SECOND time there first time wasn’t a good experience either but we tried to give it another shot. My mistake! Now I have to go to work hungry because I don’t have time to pick up food.
Definitely do not recommend!

Julianna served us this evening and she was phenomenal! We never had to wait on anything, she was checking on us a good amount of times, and everything was perfect! Very impressed with our dinner! We hope to have her serve us again soon!

El Paso has become my favorite restaurant in lake Charles. Isa is the best bartender.. always being super attentive and sweet. And all their servers are amazing.. Yunis is a sweetheart, always making sure her customers are well taken care of and David and Antonio are super funny and very timely. Not to forget, their manager is also super sweet and attentive.

I don’t normally leave a comment at any places I go and eat but this place was amazing 2-3 years ago today the food was awful my brother and i went i ordered the number 44 pork carnitas and he got the Mexican burger
Pork was not bad the onions needed to be more cook they were mid raw, rice was flavored but cold when the server brought it to my table tortillas tasted as if they bought em in bags
Burger was dry no flavor at all my brother had to add salt and black pepper to the meat. He had to mix salt ketchup and Chipotle to add abit of flavor to the burger bread was cold fries needed to be more fried
My drinks which was Piña colada took too long for the bartender to make it
Chips were also cold
I came here 2 years ago and I know its difficult to maintain the same flavors i also happen to think they changed or their cooks left
Food took too long it was a Wednesday and back when I used to come to this restaurant ON A WEDNESDAY IT WAS PRETTY BUSY and it was slow I meant if the food will take that long for them to make em at least have the dignity to make the food taste better
But yeah the server was okay

David and Juliana are absolutely AMAZING and provide top tier service. We’ve had David many many times over the years and he has always exceeded our expectations as a waiter. We had Juliana for the first time this last time and she was beyond awesome. The service is amazing and always FAST. Food is always FRESH. Atmosphere is FUN and family friendly.

Our waitress was very nice and the food was good. The staff were very pleasant overall. The biggest issue was the amount of time it took to get our drinks. The bartender outright refused to make certain drinks for no reason other than that she didn’t want to restock the bar. She was rude when trying to get our free margaritas for singing karaoke. I understand that bartenders will be more focused on making drinks for the people sitting at the bar since that is where the bulk of their money is coming from, but this was a little ridiculous.

El Paso never disappoints! The food is always amazing and consistently great. David is awesome and always takes such good care of us. Ladies—do NOT forget about the margaritas… they are absolutely fantastic! One of our favorite spots every time.
