December 2025:
Came here for lunch and enjoyed the Mo Deum Soo Yook. First time at this place and was very pleased with my meal.

Soup was very lightly seasoned. But they intentionally do that so you can add your own salt and pepper to satisfy your taste buds.

Food was very tasty. Next time, will come back for the sizzling plate. Other tables were eating that and it looked good.

Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back for more delicious food.

Well I didnt think about taking a picture of the food before I thought of leaving a review. Anyways this place is great. Came here with the family and ordered the Galbi Jim with rice cake and cheese and Galbitang. Everything was super delicious and we killed it! Definitely recommend coming here if you want some great food. Depending on the time of night it’s possible it will be super crowded, so it’s wife to plan ahead if you plan on coming here. Sorry my pictures are of empty dishes……..but that’s just proof the food is great!

Jenny was very sweet and helpful, it was my first time eating at Sun Nong Dan. She gave good recommendations, especially for the portions since we had a larger party. The menu was simple and easy to understand. All the dishes were very delicious! The food was also prepared very quickly.

The food is amazing, but a little overpriced in my opinion. If you order anything with cheese, only the top is melted by the torch. The rest of the cheese eventually melts from the heat of the food. Located in a shopping center, but the parking lot gets full and people wait around for a spot. There’s free street parking as well. If they’re busy, might take a while to ask for anything additional. The dining area is one large area so it can get a little loud.

Got this place a recommendation from these popular YouTubers (Jalin Siu and siblings) and they said this taste close to Korea so wanted to come here to check it out. Shout out to Jennie who is such a wonderful person and made the experience wonderful!

My boyfriend and I had the Galbijjim and it was SO GOOD! We ordered a medium size and had plenty to share (plus A LOT of leftovers). The medium spice level was perfect. Our server, Wang, was so sweet and hooked us up with some yummy drinks and helped our clueless selves on what to order. We’ll be back for sure.

The food here is delicious and flavorful — we especially enjoyed the cheesy short ribs and the soup. Portions are generous and everything came out fresh and hot. Our waiter Winter was very helpful and even helped us cut our food, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Great service and great food — definitely recommend this place!

Koh Galbi Jim is goated. Get with cheese. The soups were also excellent! Line moves fast.

SUNNONGDAN’s cheesy braised short ribs—smoky, gooey, chef’s kiss—are LA’s Korean BBQ MVP. Late-night hangs here feel like a cozy rebellion against Ktown’s closing, but Sawtelle’s new spot keeps the flame alive. Biggest shoutout to Winter: her infectious energy (genuine smiles, spot-on dish recs like kimchi fried rice ), refilled drinks before we even asked, and stories about their secret sauces made our meal unforgettable. She’s proof that great service is about passion, not just protocol. Can’t wait to return!

I have ordered spicy beef bone soup via uber eats, it was soooo good and authentic, reminds me so much of Korea. Thank you and keep it up.
