This was our first visit but definitely not the last. Our server Hannah was awesome. I am a bourbon drinker but she recommended the Key Lime Martini to start and it did not disappoint. I ordered the lobster bisque and my wife got the salad bar. She got the steak while I opted for the crab cake. All of the food was delicious. Just the right temperature, just the right amount of seasoning. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic yet family friendly. There was a group of 10 near us dining together. I would definitely recommend this establishment for holidays and celebrations or just dinner out. Either way you will not regret it.

Our experience was decent at best. To start, in a somewhat empty restaurant, we were seated adjacent to a table of four, when there were plenty of other open tables. The lights were brighter than they needed to be, and it was slightly noisy for a time of conversation and catch-up.
The food was hit-or-miss. I ordered the ribeye, which was quite remarkable. Not a lot of mushrooms, but it still hit the spot. My wife ordered the crab cakes, and they were extremely underwhelming. Not only that, but the risotto was severely undercooked (they remade it, and it was still undercooked). It was not the type of dish you’d expect a steakhouse to fall short on. My in-laws ordered the salmon and walleye, which were both up to par.
I’m told this place used to be a classic. I’m told this place has the best salad bar in the city, which I’m sure could be true. As an outsider looking in, I was not particularly convinced that this place carried any weight in its day, which is almost saddening.

I took some friends to brunch today at the Trolley Bar. The food was fantastic and there was a nice variety to choose from on the brunch buffet and salad bar! Theryn was our server and we had the best service, he was attentive and polite, we always had what we needed ! The atmosphere was also perfect classy but very comfortable! We will definitely be back!

We watched a lady at the salad bar dipping her fingers into things them licking them off. We called it to the attention of our server and the owner came over. They discreetly changed the entire salad bar. What a waste caused by a selfish person!
I highly recommend the fish and if you’re there during the holidays, the gingerbread martini is to die for! I tried the flight of sugar cookie, candy cane and gingerbread. All were good but the gingerbread was the best!

Love this place! The salad bar never disappoints. Drinks were made to my specific liking. The French onion soup is without a doubt the best in town. The spare ribs were tender, falling off the bone, glazed with a delicious sauce. Creme brulee… just heaven! Always great service from the warm and friendly staff. The genuine smiles and care for customers speaks volumes of the management. The cohesive environment and happy staff is reflected in the wonderful customer service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely incredible experience at Trolley Bar, thanks to Aaliyah!
I was just passing through town on a solo trip and stopped in for a quick drink, but Aaliyah turned it into one of the highlights of my entire journey. She is hands-down the most talented and welcoming bartender I’ve ever met. Her tequila cocktails were pure magic — perfectly balanced, creative, and made with so much care. Every sip was an explosion of flavor, and she even recommended a couple of off-menu tequila drinks based on what I like that were easily the best I’ve ever had.
Beyond the drinks, her energy was contagious — warm, funny, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She made me feel like a regular even though it was my first (and sadly only) night there.
If you’re anywhere near Trolley Bar, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar when Aaliyah is working. You won’t find better tequila drinks or better service anywhere. She’s a superstar! Already planning my next trip back just for her cocktails.

We had the best experience we’ve ever had in many years of eating at Trolley last weekend! The last few times we came, we were just not wowed or impressed. This time was much different. We had the best server we’ve ever had of any restaurant we’ve ever been to (Jennifer), and the food and drinks and everything were all perfectly on point. They were very busy with the Savor Fort Wayne crowd but that did not affect anything. Jennifer took time to engage with our family, including my nearly 90 year old grandmother. She joked with my dad & I and paid special attention to our kids, and really went above and beyond in every aspect. Trolley went from being low on our lists of favorites to back near the top! We will most certainly be back and hope for the same experience again!

I’m not a tomato fan by any means, but I absolutely LOVED the taste of their version of Creole Jambalaya. It was savory and the presentation was incredible! I also got a blackened shrimp with rice, and it was DELICIOUS. I probably enjoyed that more than the Jambalaya!
We can’t forget a good glass of wine! The moscato is always my go-to wine, can’t go wrong with it!
