This is a very old Italian restaurant, and the atmosphere clearly reflects that. The ambiance is probably the best part — it feels classic, warm, and full of history. The service is good; all the staff are attentive and genuinely nice.
The food is good overall. We ordered the meatball pizza. It’s not exactly my preferred style — I usually like smaller pizzas with thicker, doughy crust — but it was still delicious and very generously cheesy.

A very unexpected surprise, food was fantastic! I’m from the east coast and we love our pizza and have YET to find a pizza spot I’d say is FANTASTIC, this is it!! I ordered pasta as well , chicken alfredo, perfection !! For the pizza and pasta it came out to 50 bucks which I thought kinda pricey but the quality was definitely worth it. Don’t pass this one up

I’ve heard about this place so I finally went to check it out and I’m glad I did. I got the house pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza was so delicious , The veggies were nice chunks the cheese was melted to perfection. I will be going back. I went a little after they opened so it was really quiet .

I recently visited Venice Pizza House and really enjoyed the old-school Italian vibe. The pizza had a flavorful sauce, plenty of cheese, and a nicely baked crust. The atmosphere felt cozy and classic, like a neighborhood spot that’s been loved for years. Great service and generous portions made the experience even better. Definitely a solid place for traditional pizza in San Diego.

I don’t know what other people are talking about but it was a good find for me as they have real pizza ovens, not a conveyor belt. Yes, it’s not the world’s biggest pie but they definitely put the toppings on there and don’t scrump! My waitress did an excellent job. Was very kind as was the front desk lady.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The pizza with custom toppings was delicious. We also had fried artichokes and cheesy garlic bread and both were excellent. The prices are very reasonable. Being Valentine’s Day, they also had live music.

Found this spot super close to where we were staying. It has great reviews, so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. I had the pizza which had a nice crust. It was not too thin and not too thick, and the bottom had a nice crunch to it. I love that the ingredients are all under the cheese, and their sausage it amazing. My friends had the manicotti and the vegetable lasagna, which they both raved about. Service was phenomenal, and the restaurant was very comfortable.

This was easily one of my best finds while on vacation. Some of the best pizza and spaghetti I’ve ever had. The chicken parm was really good too. Luckily this place wasn’t super busy but Alex was doing a great job cooking and bringing out food to tables. If you ever wondered why this place has been around for so long then come and try the food and you’ll find out!

I was a weekly customer for the BBQ chicken pizza and filled up a punch card that promises a free pizza after 10 purchases. When I went to redeem it, I was told that the card doesn’t apply to pizzas with chicken… the literal only pizza I ever order. That restriction isn’t written anywhere on the card. Would’ve been nice to know upfront. Disappointing experience after being an incredibly loyal customer… not anymore.

Tasty spot. Glad to have tried it out finally. Stopped in on a Friday so the front desk was definitely a bit hectic and included a 45 min wait for a pizza that turned into an hour. Had no idea it was gonna be that long to begin with. Understandable though. Had a glass of wine to pass the time. Also ordered 12 wings and if I had been aware of the price of them, I probably would’ve just passed. Lastly, the ranch. As a ranch enthusiast, I was disappointed to see that they had given Kens ranch. Seeing the responses, they thrive on fresh ingredients and I would hope that the ranch would be homemade at least. Overall, pizza is really good and look forward to returning.
