I’m a regular customer at this Waffle House and come here almost every day for breakfast. Tonight there was confusion about my usual order and the price suddenly came up to $18 when it’s normally around $15–$15.50 for the same meal.
When I politely asked about the difference and asked for the employee’s name so I could speak to a manager later if needed, the employee at the window refused to give her name. She then told me she would not serve me, and slammed the sliding window door in my face, refusing service entirely.
This interaction was unnecessary and extremely unprofessional.
Thankfully, another employee stepped in shortly after, asked what my order was, calmly helped figure out the misunderstanding, and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. She even apologized for the interaction and resolved the issue.
That second employee demonstrated exactly what good customer service looks like, and I appreciate her stepping in.
However, management should make sure all staff represent the business with the same level of professionalism and respect toward customers.
I never have this issuee during the day or in the morning most times at night at all . Idk but yea…it makes me sad

Fav Waffle House. When in atl we visit this place 3-4 times per trip. Food comes fast and is prepared much cleaner than other places. Service has been great. Even during the morning rush the quality doesn’t dip.

One thing about Waffle House, their bacon slapssssssssssss. Whew!
As I was headed to the highway, this location was right there and I really wanted some bacon. Pulling into the lot, it is super small and spaces are limited. I was lucky as there were two spots that were coming available so I grabbed one.
Walking in, the lady at the front door was very pleasant and welcomed me into Waffle House. The restaurant itself was super clean, the staff was busy working, and the seats were loaded. As I was doing take out, I proceeded to the take out area to place my order. The young lady who was on take outs was phenomenal. She was rocking and rolling and I mean all the way live. She was handling the in-person as well as online orders and had a full system going. I could neverrrrrrrr!!!!! She was amazing.
When it came my turn to place my order, not only did the young lady greet me, she also asked me how my day was going so far!!!!!! What??? Pardon me????? Did I just get Great Customer Service from the Waffle House!!!! Wow. To say I was taken aback would be an understatement. Her professionalism and charisma were immaculate. This was a first for me. In all my years of eating at Waffle House, no one has EVER Delivered service to this caliber. Ok.. back to my order. I placed my order, 2 orders of bacon, both Well Done, an order of white toast, grape jelly, and a sweet tea. Bloop!
Once my order was placed, I took a seat and waited for my name to be called.
The way the young lady had the orders running, I may have waited about 8 minutes maximum and my name was called. I got my bag and headed out the door. Oh yeah, she told me to have a great rest of my day as well.
Now, don’t judge me y’all. As I had about a 13 minute ride home, I was unable to wait. Lmboooooooooooo. I got in that car, cracked them lids and went to townnnnnnnnnnnnn.
The Bacon was meaty, well done, salty, flavorful, and greasy just like I needed it to be. Oh my goshhhhhhhhhhhh. Idk what it is about the WF bacon but no brand compares. I savored every single chew.
The toast was good with the grape jelly and balanced the salt from the bacon.
The sweet tea was southern, homemade, sweet, refreshing, and amazing. Somebody’s great auntie in the back with the church spoon made this tea.
All in all, this was a great experience. The service. The food. The ambiance of the WF was all spot on. I will def stop here again if I’m in the area.

Service was nice, and it was very busy when I walked in to warm hellos and the smell of a hot grill that has cooked a lot of bacon and hashbrowns. Not that hard to get into if you know what you’re doing.

So I never leave bad reviews, but you ever get the feeling you weren’t welcome in a restaurant. Well, that’s exactly how I felt here the food wasn’t that good. The service was terrible. Never got a refill. Had to ask three times for a drink. got the wrong food so yeah, I don’t know. Thought maybe it might’ve been because of the area that I’m in and my skin color but Maybe not I didn’t want to jump to conclusions but just seemed like I wasn’t very welcomed

There’s a lot to say. This place is crazy. 5 servers nor sure if they were working but with a really bad mode. Particularly referen to our server Asia, she just asked, ” do you know what you want?” and then she was putting pots on the little bar with vapor that really bothered me.
