I really enjoyed my machaca chimichanga with green chili. I really liked that they give you a choice on your sides, and did not give the usual refried beans and rice. I got calabasitas and my husband got the fries. Very good flavor and the green chili sauce had large chunks of green chilli, so yummy! The best fried ice cream and sopapillas! The atmosphere was great and they had a tocores (man with a guitar) serenading.

Live music was great. Not too loud. Guy had a great voice! Wait staff was prompt and courteous. Ordered the house margarita and it tasted like slightly lemon flavored ice. Replaced with higher grade option and it was okay. Food was average for such a nice spot and a disappointment given expectations from precious locations.

Sad. Every time we come here, it’s a new bartender with low morale.
We went in Friday 2/27 The bartender was very upset that she had to wait on us. She had no idea how to make half the drinks on the menu., she even said at one point “what’s that?”
I’m beginning to think it’s management that’s treating the bartenders badly or something because it’s a new bartender at least once a month and they’re so upset to be working there. I hope things get better or they find a new manager or something cause this place sucks. It’s a Such a beautiful place to not be ran correctly.

The worst new mexican food i’ve had. Please do yourself a favor and try local options — el pinto, el patron are both much better options.
Their queso literally looks & tastes like canned plasticky yellow cheese w/ below average green chile. Our server was inexperienced and service below average but at least if the food was good would have made up for it. The only thing good was the tortilla chips — good taste, crispy, not greesy.
This place was inside hotel — better to walk down the street to sawmill market and eat different foods there!!

This is a great local spot within the hotel. On our first visit, we ordered the chicken nachos and carne asada fries appetizers. Both are definitely a serving suitable for one person’s meal or to share between 2-4 people.
The ambiance is nice and the staff is young, but friendly. It’s a great spot for food if you’re not looking to go far from the hotel.

Never been to this Garduños. And we absolutely loved it. Food was Devine. Atmosphere was very cozy. This will definitely be our new location when we choose to eat Garduños.

The restaurant’s name has a special place in the heart of anyone who’s lived in Albuquerque. It is certainly in a beautiful hotel lobby! The service was attentive but a bit slow. I ordered their massive bowl of red chile. When I got the beef option, I was expecting carnitas. It was indeed a massive bowl but was essentially red enchilada sauce topped with ground beef and the trimmings they promised. The dish tasted very good! The waitress was also kind enough to bring me the tortilla and beans that the menu said were supposed to come with a dish, when I asked for them.

Absolutely WORST management! My son was getting married in Hotel Albuquerque and we reserved Garduno’s for the rehearsal dinner. Not only did they lose the reservation and did not have the taco bar ready for our wedding party, but they’re very shady with their billing. The bar service is incredibly slow so when I was closing the tab, the bartender only gave me the credit card receipt not an itemized receipt. I would’ve left a tip on the credit card receipt, but I thought I should see the itemized receipt to make sure I knew what was being charged. Sure enough there was already a gratuity there for 23% and that was also 23% of the taxes. When I brought this up to the manager, he became extremely defensive and argumentative.
My friend who is also a restaurant mgr was with us and she said it should never be more than 20%, more typically 18%. The service was horrible, they were understaffed, the bar line took more than 30 minutes to get one drink, they were shady in how they charged the tab, they didn’t have the rehearsal reservation even though it was confirmed earlier that week, and the manager was rude, dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional. And the food? Oversalted and mediocre at best. AVOID this place!!!!!

To start off, the water tasted extremely off.. reminiscent of hose water. Everyone at the table agreed. When we pointed this out, the alternative we were offered was “lemonade” which had been made with the same water, thus having the same taste.
Every part of my meal had an off taste. The rice tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The meat almost tasted like it had freezer burn. The guacamole was piled on top of a heap of lettuce, obviously placed there as filler. The shrimp was still raw. The vegetables on the very loud and sizzling hot “fajita platter” were still raw.. like they heated up the pan just for the show.
Everything had the same taste as the water. To top everything off, they coated everything with chilies, as if to mask the sewer water taste.
The best part of the experience was the gentleman playing guitar by the entrance.
