Wow! Some of the best tacos I’ve had on the East Coast. I tried three different protein options: carnitas, portobello mushroom, and black bean. I got it “step-brother” style with all the toppings. There is no lack of flavor, and they are large tacos. Perfectly satisfying. We went during the day, so it was slow. Our service was exceptional, friendly and patient. There’s a very cool, laid-back style to this place that is neat. I will definitely return!

Nice little spot with a very friendly staff and decent food that comes out the kitchen pretty quick after ordering. Pool tables are a nice touch amd the wait was not too long. Definitely recommend for a little get together with friends. Thei happy hour is 3 to 6 with decent pricing.

After circling the block several times in search of parking on a Friday night, I parked on Marshall Street (the street behind the restaurant). I took a quick stroll in the dark, paying close attention to my surroundings before entering the establishment. While there was no staff at the front to greet patrons, I felt welcome enough to walk in and sit with my friend who had better luck with the parking situation than I did and had already grabbed us some seats. There was already water waiting for me (nice!), so all I had to do was order. I tend to look at menus ahead of time because I do have some dietary restrictions, so I knew what I’d order without picking up a menu. When our server came to the table to get our drink orders I told him I knew what I wanted to eat. I’d chosen the black bean taco and the shredded potato taco. I ordered them both traditional with onion, cilantro and lime. The tacos were warm when they came to the table and smelled of onion and cilantro. I could feel the seasoned black beans – just couldn’t taste them. The onion and cilantro were fresh and strong. The shredded potato taco had texture and crunch. Overall, the two tacos I had were fine. The coolest part of the restaurant was the pool table setup – it reminded me of an old school pool hall. If I ever go back, it’ll probably be to play pool.

food, drinks, and vibe are the best. always went with my friends when I lived here and have to come back every time I visit! favorite is the traditional potato tacos. you can rent a pool table for cheap which is so fun, just remember to put your name on the list as soon as you get there because it can be a wait.

We did our group dinner there for a business event and everything was perfect. The food was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. The pool table rolls as true as you could hope for a public spot. All around great experience!

We were looking for dinner before going to see a show in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood. Ended up at Don’t look back based on Google reviews and I’m super glad we did. I probably would not have gone inside based on the run-down looking outside. Inside, the restaurant is modern, open, and clean.
Our server, Parker, was very attentive and friendly. Our table of 6 was able to sit right away on a Friday night around 6:30. There was a wait by the time we left around 7:45.
There are tons of tequila choices and good beer options as well. The food was all very reasonably priced and I really enjoyed the variety of taco filling choices. The potato taco might have been my favorite, but they were all very tasty. All 6 of us had delicious food, with only the quesadilla being a bit underwhelming. We would come back again, for sure..

Really good fish and shrimp tacos. The sides were only a dollar but came in condiment containers. I was a bit shocked at this. The food was fresh and tastes good but overall not super flavorful to me. The beans, salsa, guac, and tacos all tasted pretty bland. Also, the guac was a bit pricey for such a small amount. I’d eat here again but it wouldn’t be my go-to for Mexican food.
