I absolutely love La Hacienda in Roselle! My optometrist recommended it to me for a quick lunch and I’m so glad I came here! The food is very reasonable, I ordered three Barbacoa enchiladas with mole it came with beans and rice. My other guest ordered the bistecca and added pork with red sauce , veggies , rice and beans and we both were really happy with the flavors . Blanca was an amazing waitress very sweet and accommodating. The rest of the staff here is so kind and welcoming. I recommend coming here instead of a corporate chain restaurant because the food portion to price ratio is so much better you get so much more for your money, and the ambience is so much better and more personable. for dessert we had flan and They bought out complementary fried dough and banana pastry… It was really nice of them. Please support your local restaurants, often times they are much better than these big chain restaurants that are ripping people off financially with the portion size and price! Will definitely be back . enjoyed the cultural artwork and decorations as well in the restaurant. Authentic food A+! Bill was $60 total pretty great for sit down service , two huge entrees and 2 desserts. Could have fed four people with all that food haha. Chips and salsa are complementary and very yummy. Service was 12-15 min from when we ordered really good on time.

The drinks were good and the shrimp tacos was delicious. However the seasoning was too mild. The fresh guacamole was good. The ambience was great with live music. Good place for a friends and family get together.

First time and won’t be the last – I live in Wisconsin but for sure will stop in any time I’m local to visit again! Absolutely phenomenal customer service and food. Even in time of our family grieving we meet there and they gave us the privilege of being able to have a area to talk .

We have brought many of friends and family members over the years.
Each time they enjoyed the staff and food.

Amazing family place fantastic food really nice staff. Family owners. The carnitas were so flavorful and tender. They didn’t need any salsa but of course I did. You can tell they are home made salsas, mild and medium. I had a huge burrito and took 2/3rds home. The rice and beans are tasty and I usually don’t eat them but one bite and I couldn’t stop. I finished the whole thing. I am definitely returning and telling all of my friends. I almost forgot the little surprise dessert, a fried banana with whipped cream What a hidden gem!

Had a party of six, arrived at 5pm. Was asked if we had a reservation, we did not. You could tell that irritated the staff. Was sat at a table situated in front of and in between two booths. We had absolutely no room and had to stand up and move any time someone from one of the booths had to leave. Two people at our table received the wrong food. Ordered green enchiladas but received red, ate it anyway. The staff hovered over us and seemed to want us to leave as fast as possible. Food was just ok. And by ok, I mean if you have no idea what authentic Mexican food should taste like, then you will love this place. Completely over priced with subpar food. Flan was not flan, it was flan flavored cheesecake at best. Will not be going back.

Such great food, extremely kind and friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The amount of food you get for the price is incomparable to chain restaurants, and it feels better supporting your community too. We’ll be back so soon with friends and family.

The service was excellent, the food was very nice, and it looked and tasted delicious. A couple of things I noticed were the rice could have been a little better, and the lighting was a little dim. Other than that, I had a fantastic time with my family, and I enjoyed the rest of the food. I would go back and try more of the menu.

It has been some time since i have been, but recall when the new menu had come out and the prices had gone up, nothing unusual about this anywhere you go. But i had recalled the amazing taste of their fajitas all versions ad popped in to order dinner.
Well the service was so so and i had to take utensils for the sauces, napkins, and well i felt abandoned, service wise. The one drink ordered had no hint of liquor and just sweet smoothie.
The once famous quality steak fajitas was like poor quality fat cuts of beef smothered in onions and bell pepper. Every fork full more veg than fatty beef, the heart saving feature.
My historic rating i have told countless friends was 2-3 points over the other local Tex-Mex places. I hope they return to the high quality go to even if another price increase is required, and add more avocado to the cameroon cocktail in stead of tomatoes.

I’ve been to several la hacienda locations and this one has a smaller seating area but by far the best when it comes to the food. I had the Bistec a la Mexicana. So delicious and huge portions. The margaritas were great too!
