We had an event downtown and wanted a solid, upscale, amazing restaurant downtown. The Palm did not disappoint ! We were so bummed when the palm Beverly Hills closed and this made up for it 10 fold. Our waiter Peter was extra attentive, knowledgeable, and awesome ! LOVE HIM!!! The food was stellar , and the room was warm, large and inviting We aren’t downtown that often for dinner but what a great option!!! Love it!!! We will be back!!! Stellar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hosted our companies Holiday Dinner here. We got a private room for our small party and everything was set up beautifully. Lydia was great coordinating everything for us. Once we were there the Manager Lamont and his team were amazing. They took such great care of us. Danny our waiter was truly our hero as everything was timed perfectly and we felt really taken care of. As the host, it could be stressful, but The Palm made it seamless. Food, service, and atmosphere = A+ all the way!

Walk by often and decided to stop in on a Sunday evening. It was nearly empty, I wasn’t sure if they were even open. Due to this, service was very attentive and I loved our cocktails. The food was hit or miss, the crab risotto and the tuna starter were disappointing, but the crab cake and my partner’s mushroom risotto side were amazing. The ambiance is interesting and something to comment on, but the artwork cheapens the atmosphere imo. Also, they keep it pretty chilly in there, if you get cold easily, definitely bring a sweater!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Palm in downtown Los Angeles. We ordered a bit of everything, so I’ll just talk about what I liked the most.
The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very tender. We ordered a few of the sauces and while they were pricey vs the amount, the chimichurri and peppercorn are worth adding…. The au gratin was my favorite side dish, it was creamy and flavorful, wish we ordered two servings honestly. Lastly the dessert and the key lime pie hit the spot but being full from the dinner, we had it to go. Overall, I had a great experience at The Palm and would definitely recommend it to others! Worth it especially for special occasions.

The spot is a classic steak house in Downtown LA and one of the spots I highly recommend. Old school feel inside with great customer service coupled with wonderful celebrity wall art.
We went here for my buddy’s birthday and brought our own wine. We ordered a dozen oysters, the thick cut bacon, hash browns, mushrooms and I ordered the boneless prime rib for the entree. For dessert I got a latte and the tiramisu with vanilla ice cream.
The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, it was the right size also. I like mine medium rare and the sides were really good. The oysters were very flavorful and tasted fresh. The thick cut bacon was phenomenal and the sauce that comes with it was great(I used it for my steak too). Customer service was great overall and the dining experience was great.
The latte was delicious and the tiramisu was phenomenal, especially with a side of vanilla ice cream. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items. Parking is limited to street but I recommend covered/garage parking on the opposite street on Hope.

The palm was really nice place to have a nice steak. Mashed potatoes were overly garlic but then again our (many times too familiar) server reiterated they were garlic mashed potatoes. Food was delicious service was a little uncomfortable. Ambiance was very nice with high ceilings.

I went to The Palm to celebrate my birthday in 2021. The food was delicious! I had a party of 12 and there were no complaints about the food. The customer service was exceptional! I ordered the lobster, which was was good, but too much for me. I ended up sharing the lobster with my friends. The ambiance is nice, but the decor is a little out dated. Definitely a great spot for special occasion dinners!

This Palm location is consistent with most of the other locations I’ve visited. Similar decor, seating, and atmosphere. Service was pretty good, but with a couple of notable exceptions. When greeted, we were offered “a large bottle of water for the table.” I wasn’t clear if this meant tap water or purchasing bottled water for a fee, so I asked and it was the latter. Felt a little slippery to me. Also, our entrees took a lot longer than what was communicated to us, but I think that’s because when we sat down the place was nearly empty and 20 minutes later it was busy. The drinks were very good; I ordered the Moscow Mule. Wedge salad was enjoyable and the stuffed sea bass was also well prepared. A better variety of dessert options would have been nice. I would return again.

I really liked the food here. The bread at the start of the meal was really good. The crab cakes were very good and reminded me a lot of east coast real Maryland crab. The biggest problem is I’m not sure the price exactly matched the amount of food even when factoring in the high quality. I think I spent about 70 dollars for lunch to have 2 pretty small crab cakes and some green beans. The location is hard to get too but the atmosphere is great!
