The food – For once, the hype was right. I was told numerous times to visit this place for some great seafood and it did not disappoint. I brought my wife here for her birthday yesterday and we had the seafood sampler and the skillet extravaganza. I have NO complaints. Great presentation. Great flavor. Great meal.
The service – Kayla (waitress)was attentive, lively, and fun. We had a delay on our food so she brought us some bread to hold us over for the wait time. Very thoughtful. Customer service throughout our stay was A-1.
The Atmosphere – an old school, no phones feel where you get to enjoy your company. For that alone, that makes this place one of my favorites. Romantic lighting, quaint, and calm. Perfect place for a rendezvous with a loved one.

Haven’t dined here in a while and I left promising myself that I’ll return soon. The whole experience was perfect. We were greeted upon entering, seated promptly and the service was both friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere inside is elegant, yet comfortable. Lighting makes a big difference as to how you feel. Each table had a small candle. I had the Bigg City’s Spicy Pasta. It was delicious , cooked perfectly and the portion size was more than generous. My wife ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Peri Peri and loved it. This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember which is hard to do in such a competitive environment. If you don’t have good service, food and fair prices, you won’t be in business long. If you want a great dining experience, check out The Georgia Shrimp Company.

The Bad: Very disappointing dining experience. Started off with she crab soup. I had to add about a tablespoon of salt to the dish just to taste some flavor.
Then came the fried oyster and shrimp entree with a side of rice and hush puppies. First I tried a hush puppy but I was unable to ignore the freezer taste. The shrimp and oysters were basic, could also use salt. I received tartar sauce but It was just mayonnaise.
The kitchen just needs one good chef to be tasting the food and checking quality.

I traveled for the Lobster Thermidor and was won over with the ambience, customer service, $5 house wine at the start of 3pm happy hour, and the delicious appetizers—not limited to the Charleston She Crab Soup.

Georgia Shrimp Co is amazing, from the ambiance, the service, the food, and the pricing. This is our third time eating in, though I have picked up their delicious Grits Antonio a handful of times. Last night my hubby and I went out for date night, we started with the Salmon and Crab Cakes and then my hubby had the Bigg City’s Spicy Pasta and I had the Half and Half which is Half Fried Shrimp and Half Grilled Shrimp with Cheese Grits. We had enough food left over for lunch today. Georgia Shrimp Co is a lovely gem, we will be back soon.

Experienced Ga Shrimp Company for the first time, FANTASTIC! Great service, atmosphere and delicious food! My picky Husband was even impressed! We had the Seafood Trio (Fried) Oysters were cooked to perfection, Shrimp well seasoned. My Husband’s favorite selection was the Malva, so rich and tasty without being overly sweet. It’s like a cross between Pound Cake and Bread Pudding
