This restaurant just became our new favorite. We ordered the Prawn and Palms, gnocchi, ribeye steak, and crepes—all served family-style, which we loved. We felt so comfortable bringing our two-year-old, and that alone for me says a lot. Brenda was incredibly kind and walked us through how the dishes were made, which made the experience feel extra thoughtful. The music was low, the vibes were warm, and conversation flowed easily. Most definitely recommend.

My first time trying Argentine BBQ, and the service was incredibly friendly. We ordered the signature mixed grill platter — the lamb chops were very tender, the chicken was flavorful, and the two cuts of steak (different doneness) plus the sausage were all quite good. While the flavors weren’t exactly mind-blowing, everything was enjoyable overall.

The big surprise was the side of grilled vegetables — absolutely delicious! The traditional Argentine soup tasted quite similar to Mexican flavors. And I have to highlight the bread served at the beginning — it was so good that I couldn’t resist asking for another portion.

Overall, a very nice BBQ experience with excellent service!

Excellent food, especially the steaks (chicken, beef, and salmon).

However, we had to always ask for drink refills. And the French baguettes never came after a handful of asking…

They have some great drinks as well where other places do not offer, such as the chocolate Mozart martini and crown raspberry.

Overall, I highly recommend this place!

I took a big group here for a celebration and it was great, solid customer service with excellent food entrees!

I ordered their ribeye and it was delicious and cooked perfectly at a medium rare. Perfectly seasoned and the temp was just right. The seasoned vegetables were also delicious.

Roland was an excellent server and provided a dessert with a nice display saying “Happy Birthday.” All of us had a great time and had an excellent lunch.

Lots of parking but I came on a Sunday, but I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

A HUGE shout out to our server Roland who provided an outstanding service for our large group of 22 out on the patio. He was super attentive throughout the night, making sure our drinks were filled and were happy with our entrees. His signature catch phrase is “I don’t see why not?” haha! Roland definitely deserves a raise.

Unfortunately, our group found their sea bass not too fresh, so I would stick to their meat offerings. The Gaucho Special Cut (rib cap) was very good and our group enjoyed the Tomahawk as well. For dessert, I liked the Tiramisu.

Overall, we had a great evening and I would book Gaucho Grill again for our next group event!

I came here for LA dine in. This place has the best empanada I ever had. The arugula salad was pretty good with palm of heart. My chicken with fries were not bad. My mom‘s beef skewer was good, but the beef was a little overcooked.

The food is not good or tasty, and the salad was not made well. The flavors were off. It definitely was not freshly made, and the chicken felt like it came from the frozen meal that got microwave (dry and chewy), the side potatoes bland, and the salad taste like leftover mushy, zero flavor as well. The bread is cold, not fresh or warm. It was disappointing and the atmosphere blah. The decor is dark and dingy, sorry to say. However, there is plenty of free parking and to get a seat here. It was pricey for nothing yummy, even the drink was water down. I would not recommend this place.

This was our second time eating at Gaucho Grill. Sadly, this will definitely be our last time. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and unfortunately they weren’t all clean, they still had the poopy vein on them. Yuck! The server was very friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive. It was 80 degrees outside and the restaurant was warm, we had to request for them to put the AC on, which they did. The food is flavorless and bland. For the price, we definitely expected more. Best part, was the live performer and empty parking lot.

The Prime Picanha was the best that I ever had. The fat was so juicy, I got the medium rare. They cooked really well. Empanadas smoked short ribs is really good also. Got to have red wine. One glass of Amosa Malbec De La Casa is the perfect choice to eat with your sirloin steak. The customer service team is always friendly. I love the way they make your day.

I recently visited Gaucho Grill in West Covina with a group of friends, and overall, we had a really nice time. The food was definitely the highlight – I ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were all really rich and delicious, and the portion sizes were generous.

The only reason I’m not giving Gaucho Grill a full 5 stars is that the atmosphere felt a bit…off. The restaurant was kind of empty. We also noticed that there wasn’t a photographer on site to take our pictures, which was a bit of a bummer since we were celebrating a special occasion when others places offer photography.

Despite those minor quibbles, though, the food and service were both good .

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Gaucho Grill to anyone looking for a solid steak dinner in the West Covina area. Just don’t expect a super lively atmosphere or any complimentary photos!
