Moved close recently and have been in to Chubby’s several times. Every single time has been great! Atmosphere is clean, friendly, and laid back. Everyone that works there has been amazing and the food is so good. They have great options for adults and children. My favorites are the jalapeño ranch burger and the Chubbys Philly cheesesteak. Their fries are amazing. My kids love their Mac and cheese and little chicken burgers.

Husband and I decided to try chubbys again for lunch today after the last failed attempt like 3 months ago? It wasn’t as bad as this time though.
$30 for two of the most unappetizing looking, bland tasting pieces of food I’ve had in a while. My husband and I are so disappointed. It really seems like someone guessed the ingredients and made these for the first time – these spots of cheese and the few tiny bacon pieces, barely any jalapeno – they’re both so dry too.
The girl on the phone taking my order couldn’t give me her attention for literally 3-4 minutes and kept asking me what I said over and over, idek if she got our order correct anyways.
Definitely never going back.

I got a pastrami burger. I’m not sure who told them to cover the top and bottom bun in mustard. You know mustard. That condiment that makes everything it touched taste only like mustard? Yeah. You would just change the name to mustard burger guys.
Pastrami burgers are a Utah staple. This doesn’t come close to ANY Utah native Burger. This is the kind of joke passed off as pastrami you get in LA or Orange County. It’s not a pastrami burger guys. It’s like, roast beef and mustard. Like, this is the charger you get if a Sysco truck falls on it’s side and catches on fire.
Next the dining area. It wasn’t clean.
Next the bathroom. It wasn’t clean. The sink in the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month.
Lastly the good. The staff was friendly. They were polite. They were great.
I won’t be eating here anytime soon. But the staff was awesome.

Caitlyn, who helped us at the counter, was fantastic and the food was perfectly seasoned and hot. Seriously it was soooo good! My husband had the Chubby’s deluxe cheeseburger and I had the Southern Crispy chicken sandwich. Both were amazing and we highly recommend trying them! We also shared a Texas sheet cake with a scoop of ice cream. Tasted homemade – yum! The service was quick, (we did go around 3pm so it was mostly empty) place was clean, and there were plenty of (pepsi) soda options. The Chubby’s sauce is really good! It’s like a BBQ fry sauce. Two thumbs up!

My wife and I are traveling through Utah but made a planned stop to visit with my brother-in-law who is living in a senior care facility in Payson. He asked for a big and juicy cheeseburger. Not familiar with the eateries in Payson, I googled the “best cheeseburger” and Chubbies came up.
I need to recognize the staff first. The smiles on their faces made ordering a pleasurable experience. The young lady that assisted me was on queue with knowledge of the menu and upselling other items.
As for the food, I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger with double patties. It was a fairly large sandwich. It looked and smelled great. My brother-in-law was very pleased with the cheese burger and stated that it was “really good!”
I do plan on making future visits to Chubbies. My recommendation is for you to give it a try and provide your feedback as well.
As a side note, Chubbies has a varied menu of many tempting delights.

We love this local family-owned chain. Delicious food with lots of choices. The shakes are so thick and yummy. I love the spicy chicken sandwich with coleslaw but you can never go wrong with one of the burgers. Friendly staff and a clean fun environment.

Stopped in at Chubby’s Cafe in Payson after runnin around all day and it hit the spot real good. Burger was juicy, fries come out hot and crispy, and the shake tasted like real ice cream, not watered down. Folks inside were friendly, kept things movin, and the place felt clean and comfy. For the price I walked out full and happy, I’d sure swing back through here again
