This is a fun place to chill specially if you like cats. Cz Mr. Norman is there! He’s 11 years old gentleman n very cuddly I spent most of my time with him when I was here. Food items are very limited. We had a few snacks items pizza bites, fries etc. People were so nice, they gave us complimentary strawberries. Place is pretty big with outdoor setting n pet friendly.

A locals hangout where they even treat the out-of-towners like locals. Josh, owner and bartender, was fantastic – personable, attentive, and incredibly helpful! Be sure to spend a little time with Mayor Norm; he’ll warm the heart of even the coldest.

Have now visited this place multiple times and sure to return anytime we’re in the area. Love the vibe. Great service. Super laid back and sometimes you’ll even catch live music. There’s some board games, darts nice outdoor hang space.

Read all the great reviews of this place and my husband and I were excited to check it out after a hike. We were clearly tourists. Aside from the “hello” received from the bartender upon walking in, we were treated as if invisible. Only two local couples were there and two bartenders. After standing at the beer selection for several minutes and being walked in front of / around as if we were in the way, not being asked if we needed a drink etc, we left. Disappointing, but we tried the wine shop nextdoor and the staff was lovely, helpful and made up for the service at Maggie’s.

Great little local watering hole. Stopped in here the other evening with family and friends for a few beers and a game or two of darts. The gas fireplace out back was a nice touch for a chilly early spring night. Norman, the resident feline, was on hand for a scratch behind the ears (Norman’s… not the patrons). If you like staying late, Maggie’s is the place. We left and went back to D & M’s residence in Fayetteville around midnight. I hung around a while and decided to head back north to home. When I drove by Maggie’s there were still a few cars out front. Those were some serious partyers. I was surprised that Maggie’s wasn’t pinned on Google Maps… so I pinned it !!!

I came after hearing about the bar while staying at Adventures on the Groge. I was so excited was told nothing but great things, first they are not friendly to tourist, the bartender Courtney was wasted and completely rude when I questioned why my drink price went from $7 to $9 as I was paying as I went (and i tipped each time) . Then when I asked her name or for her to get her boss she told me to leave.
I try not to make assumptions about business or people, but I saw her take at least 4 shots just in the two hours I was there. And I know at least 4 because when I went to get my drink I had to wait for her to take shots with other customers. There is no way I am the only person who experienced this. I recommend anyone pays as they go or they find another bar in this town.

10/10 the drinks are awesome! Heavy handed on the liquor but perfect balance in the cocktails and I got to pet the cat 🙂

Maggie’s was pretty fun actually. It’s super confined inside, but what it lacks inside, makes up for with the outside seating area. The outside was really open and great. There’s bongos, TV, tambourine, and a friendly cat if you can get him to come to you. Once you make friends with him he loves his belly rubbed
Drinks were awesome I forget the bartender’s name but she made a super great old fashioned. There’s no cherry in it, which was a bummer, but they put in a local maple syrup and it really made the drink smooth.
Nice place to chill and kill some time recommend for a cool little hangout.
