I judge all by first, the Chile Rellenos, and second the freshness. This poor place fails on both. Chile Relleno was a bell pepper cut in half with some strange bean mush and cheese. Purely awful. The Los Agaves appetizer platter was a deep fried previously frozen mix of unappealing and humdrum flavors. People were okay but inattentive and atmosphere, eh. Sadly the last place Mexican food in the Kanawha Valley.

Being honest went here 2 days to try different food and both times I was disappointed disappointed.. chips and salsa wer good.
Asada, chicken,shrimp fries. Didn’t have shrimp ?? The girl said I’ll bring it out for u in a bit. By the time she did I was already done with me food 🙁
next day we had carnitas plate and the food was cold cold the waiter went to re warm it up and wen he brought it back out the carnitas wer hot from the outside and cold inside and kinda raw. I sent it back and had a steak ranchera with pico de gallo but wen it came no pico de gallo just mole ;(
Overall horrible food with horrible slow service to be honest. Nothing authentic about this place.
The place is well decorate and feels authentic.
Only reason I gave it 2 stars was because decorations and chips and salsa.

Good place for lunch or dinner. I came at lunch time with someone who is disabled. Great entry and accommodation for the elderly and wheelchair friendly.
Food: Salsa tastes like it’s from Sam’s club and chips are bland. I ordered the wrap which was decent. The meals are a lot of food and I had leftovers. Good value for the money.
Service: The service is really great. The workers are all friendly and quick to refill your drink. Great service overall.
Atmosphere: Very clean and open. Plenty of space with room to move chairs. Mexican style decor, 70’s rock was playing. Bathrooms are clean.
This is NOT my favorite place but if you like basic Mexican fare this is a good stop for something to eat. It’s not fancy and they have a good selection on the menu.
