Came here for my nephews birthday because of the amount of good reviews on this location so I decided to give it a try tonight. Safe to say I will not be coming here ever again. For starters, my boyfriend and my sister in law ordered drinks and I decided last minute I wanted a drink as well. My boyfriend and sister in law were not ID’d. When I asked for a drink I did not have my ID on me which I take accountability however im almost 30 now.. I understand that part is my fault I’ve offered a picture on my phone of my id as I did not drive. But I thought it was ridiculous given the fact that my bf and SOL were not asked for their id AND she served them and I was denied. My SOL said there her drink tasted like straight orange juice with no alcohol. My bf said his had no liquor in his drink in which it was supposed to. My burger was soggy and as close to raw meat as it can get. I asked for it medium. My sister in law received rotten guac as if it had been days old. I don’t typically leave bad reviews but my experience here left a bad impression. Waitress was nice but was not attentive. The restaurant wasn’t even busy for her to not be attentive. Overall I’m disgusted by the food and service.

Had my family there for my wife’s birthday. There were 17 of us. Reservation was handled well and our waiter, Justin, was very attentive and took great care of us. Our glasses were kept full, all food came out hot and was delicious. Kudos to Justin and Houlihans for a great birthday dinner for my wife.

I just wanted to shout out Houlihan’s Holmdel .. I picked up meals and took them to have thanksgiving with my daughter in a Hospital situation.. everything was delicious and made our holiday special in what could have been a sad situation

Food was great and server was kind. We went on a weekday around 1pm in hopes for a quiet setting for special needs teenager who is learning to place her own order and enjoy a good meal. Our server, Max, was patient and accurately took our order. Fried mushroom appetizer, fish n chips, French onion soup and butter cake was our selection and we enjoyed it all. Manager checked on us too and over all a great experience.

We had such a great dinner at Houlihan’s tonight. It is my dad’s favorite restaurant and he wanted to go there for his birthday dinner. Our waiter Nick made him feel so special. He was very attentive and even gave him a brownie sundae to celebrate his big day.

I am not from around here, my grandson and I came here because he said this spot had some good affordable food, and he was not wrong!! This food was fantastic!! My server was a sweetheart, her name was Zoey, she helped my table out and even giving us a great suggestion on the soups!! I will definitely be talking about Houlihan’s when I go back to my hometown in PA!! This restaurant had a not so bright atmosphere but I was treated like a human, unlike some other restaurants I am treated like a customer, this experience was really nice and I hope every server and restaurant is like the way that I just experienced!
