The food here is good and it’s very nice being right next to the beach. But it is very simple and don’t expect to be waited on. You order and pick up your food at a window, so it kind of feels like a cafeteria more than a restaurant. The food tasted fine, will try other items on the menu. It was a bit pricey but I feel like you’re paying for the view and quick access to the beach.

I love this quaint Florida-style spot overlooking the ocean! I bring my friends from up north when in town. Great customer service and plenty of parking.
We had the Sunrise Platter – plenty food and the Seaside Avocado Toast.
I gave it 4 stars because the avocado had no flavor. It needed vinegar, lemon zest, something. 3 fans were not working – it can get very hot and they have different prices online.

The food isnt that bad, but my grits were undercooked on my shrimp and grits. The view alone is 5 stars even if they were just serving fried bologna sandwiches, which there’s nothing wrong with a proper fried bologna sandwich at all.

This week, I learned that the Seaside Cafe has a Gluten Free menu. Now this probably doesn’t mean much to most beach-goers but I am ecstatic! Dealing with Celiac disease, requires gluten free food from careful preparation to avoid cross-contamination. I had not asked in over a year and was overjoyed when they produced a GF menu! Not only did they have a menu but Ruth and Melonie both answered my questions sufficiently about protocol for avoiding gluten in the kitchen. Kudos to the person there that decided it was a good business decision.
More restaurants should realize that a member of a party with Celiac disease often selects the restaurant for the group. A GF menu is the first consideration indicating the restaurant is invested in its GF patrons.
The menu at Seaside cafe was quite sufficient. Most people with Celiac disease are happy to have at least a few things to choose from so they can eat with their friends and family rather than eat what they carry in case they are stuck where there is no GF menu. Seeing as most social activities are built around eating, Celiac disease is very socially limiting.
I am so happy that we did not have to bring our linch nor load up and leave to find a lunch we could enjoy together!
I had the Tidal Fish Tacos with plantains and it was delicious. Thanks Ruth and Melonie at Seaside Cafe at the beautiful Stuart Beach!

Went this am for what I like to call my “1 hour vacation”. Was thinking lunch, but I arrived at 11am and lunch didn’t start until 1130am. No worries, I’ll just order breakfast with my Sailfish IPA! Served by Ruth at the bar. Friendly and Served quickly. Order was on point and good. I can definitely see myself coming to out to the beach and making a day of it.

We stopped at seaside cafe sort of by chance. We knew it was there but didn’t really know what it would be like. When we walked up the stairs to the dining area we were amazed at the beautiful scenery. It’s basically a completely open air tiki hut directly on the ocean. They serve breakfast and lunch. Pictured is the shrimp and grits which is covered in a bacon and fruit chimichurri that is incredible. The grits are completely covered in cheese and are very tasty. They include two eggs made your way. I got mine over medium as I always do and they were perfectly made. The chicken and waffles were super good and quite a large portion. The breakfast tacos were delicious. The breakfast sandwich is a win. The coffee is decent. We enjoyed our first breakfast so much that we returned for a second breakfast the next day. The only complaint I had was that you order at a window and pick up at another and the crowd of people waiting around is a bit strange and inconvenient. The shouting of the order is hard to hear so many people wait up by the window and it can be a bit awkward. But otherwise, this place is amazing. I’d go every single morning for breakfast if I were able.

Fantastic Service from Ruth!
I had such a great experience at Seaside Café in Stuart thanks to Ruth! She’s not only an amazing bartender but also incredibly friendly and attentive. She made great drink recommendations, kept the vibe upbeat, and made everyone at the bar feel welcome. You can tell she really enjoys what she does — professional, personable, and quick with a smile. If you’re visiting Seaside Café, definitely grab a seat at Ruth’s bar — she’ll make your visit unforgettable!

We came at 11:15 and breakfast is served until 11:30. If you want to order lunch we had to wait until they finished making breakfast orders, cleaning kitchen, and then you can order. We came on a Friday and lunch wasn’t able to be ordered until 11:50 so just a heads up. It may be worse on busier days.

Service was good. The guy taking our orders was helpful. The lady at the bar was nice as well.

Seating is outdoors in a covered patio with plenty of fans and all in the shade. A mix of tables and bar seating.

Food was a mix.

The açaí was 4/5. Decent, but small portion for the price.

Surfside sandwich was 4/5.

Fruit bowl was 2/5 – for $7 it was 80% giant chunks of melon and cantaloupe and half a strawberry, and two slices of watermelon/pineapple. Would’ve been much better with less melon and more pineapple/watermelon.

Waffle was 2/5 – tasted like cheap box mix.

Smoothie is 4/5 – heavy on the syrup but refreshing if you want more of an icee/smoothie.

Avocado toast is 3/5.

Omelet was 4/5.

Man….I hesitate to tell the world about this li’l Seaside Cafe, tucked away on the ocean, covered, open air, with salty breezes and an amazing view. Once you find it, you’ll be back. Go for the ambiance. Try the coffee. Stay for the pancakes or anything else on the breakfast and lunch menu. Casual, laid back, happy…. that’s the vibe and that’s the tribe.
There are a lot of places you can go for a fun and easy bite to eat, but there’s only one place like this!
