Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went through the drive thru and told them that I wanted our food dropped fresh. When we got the food I looked at the order to see if we had everything but didn’t look at the food on the car closely with it being dark. When we got home, the food was burnt and fries were limp and soggy. When I called the store location, I told them I don’t appreciate them not cooking my food fresh, that it was burnt and dry. The lady told me she watched them drop it fresh and I wanted a recook. I told her I was not coming back up there don’t appreciate them not cooking the food fresh instead of dropping old food in the grease to get it hot again.

Very impressed. Burger was great, as were the fries. Also tried the Banana Pudding shake: I approve. The staff were extremely nice, especially Ulunda, who took our order. The inside was extremely clean, one of the cleaner fast food restaurants I’ve seen in a while. Food came out very fast. Great location!

Very polite young lady took my order and answered all of my questions. Perfectly clean, including restrooms. Quiet. I thought the prices were higher than expected but it was a lot of food. Brought back memories. Everyone should go at least once.

It’s been almost a decade that I have seen & ate at a Whataburger and it was exactly what I remembered . The breakfast sandwich was actually really fresh, real eggs and bacon on a tender biscuit. Really good especially being on the road for the past 10 hrs lol. The bathrooms were basically clean, it was a hassle to get in because of the code and it wasn’t working properly. The service was pretty nice especially when they were super busy.

I frequent this location A LOT. And I usually like the people serving but my goodness! If you go during breakfast and get a hamburger, expect to wait–cool, I get it. I won’t hold you, the burgers are bussingggg. BUT, hear the outcry of my soul please..”IF I gotta wait on the beef, my fries should be fresh out the GREASEE” Fresh I said!! My fries be tasting refried or just warm. Breakfast is usually hitting. But about 65% of the time I order, something is wrong or missing and I have to come back because I go on work, during my break . Know y’all tired of seeing my name in that book, turnmeloose! This location is a mixed bag. For a time you could count on the food being fresh and correct. Not anymore. It does not matter how you order. Drive thru, they aren’t paying attention. I recently drove up was put on hold, someone else pulled up at the other window after me and they took their order first! I ordered in the app and somehow got a totally different item than what I wanted. Ingredients that did not want were added back. Curbside, they leave out items or food is totally wrong. Today I drew the line after ordering food this morning that was initially wrong. Got home and ate it and we have both been sick ever since. They do not care about customer service here at all. Submitted a complaint to their website as well. They need to do better. Maybe less standing around and more focus on the customer.

Workers look like they hate being there. The girls at the drive thru have such a puss on their faces when you drive up it is like you are annoying them. I have been inside were employees were having a verbal confrontation with I am guessing their mod. I know it is hard to find workers that actually want to work right now but truefully I find the location in tillamns corner to be an all around negative experience. With the exception of one person a gentleman who is always nice and smiles. The location needs to be secret shopped just to see how bad the customer service is. Employees on their phone in the drive thru and at the front counter. I love what burger but I can’t forsee what would make me go back to this location.

This has been my worst experience at Whataburger so far. The fries I received were badly burnt, so I politely asked for a replacement. Unfortunately, the second batch was just as overcooked. It seems the issue may be with the oil being used. I hope management can look into this to improve quality and consistency.
