I stopped there for an early lunch this past week and this place was absolutely fantastic. I hadn’t had barbecue in a while but was in the area for some work appointments and when I saw it I knew it was what I wanted. I got the lunch meal which was a barbecue sandwich with two sides so I chose collard greens and corn pudding and they offered me the “first time customer” sampler which meant I also got a potatoe salad. Everything was good, but the sandwich was Exceptional. And this is because the girl behind the counter asked me if I was okay with the swine sauce (which she said was vinegar based) and I explained that I prefer sweet barbecue sauce and she must have not understood that I wanted her to use sweet sauce instead. Instead there was no sauce on the sandwich and in spite of that, the sandwich was Absolutely Delicious. Also, the girl behind the counter was super helpful and friendly, as was the guy who I assume must have been the manager. He even came over to my table and asked how everything was. The decor perfectly complements the type of cuisine offered, and the little touches add to the vibe-like the funny signs in the bathroom. I was there early so the place wasn’t crowded but I suspect that during the heart of the lunch hours it buzzes.

The slow cooked meat sandwich came piled high and packed with rich flavor. The half chicken was excellent as well. Some sides, like the fries and the crisp seasoned cucumbers, had a touch too much salt, yet overall it was a very satisfying lunch.

This was the BEST BBQ I have found in NC. The brisket was tender and juicy. Not full of fat. Baked beans were amazing as was the corn pudding. If you’ve never had it, ask for a sample. Important to me was a nice variety of diet sodas. They also have beer. I noticed some brownies in a big to go order but I’m guessing you can get that for dessert. I will definitely be back here. They offer a military discount which I appreciated also.

The food is good. That is the only redeeming quality about this location. I have had nothing but trouble every time I order. The only reason I keep on ordering is because we like the food. It’s started as a challenge now that if I do a curbside pick up to actually see if I will get my food brought out to me. Every time I have ordered not one time have I ever had my food brought out. I have to get out and go get it. I am not acknowledged. I go and find my own bag and take it and leave. Tonight I watched the girl look out at me multiple times and still not bring me the food as I sat and waited for 10 minutes to see if she would actually do it then as I was walking away, she said oh sorry about that. Which is what I hear every time as I’m walking away.. There was three people in there it’s not like she was busy. Don’t offer it if your employees don’t want to do it.

I go here all the time after church. The barbecue is super yummy and the staff are top tier. The manager there is super friendly and involved he even remembers regulars. Went today and was helped by a bubbly and helpful cashier named Peyton. Definitely a staple for your family too great deals are always happening here and the food fills up the whole crew.

The best smoked chicken I’ve ever had. I’m so happy we finally have a City in AL. I’ve been eating at them in OH, KY, IN, and NC. I’ll be going to Huntsville more often now. Service was great and the price is cheap compared to the quality of the food.

I ordered here for Thanksgiving. Had family coming down and I decided to order from here since my job gave us dinner from City BBQ and I thought it was delicious.
I ordered the full turkey breast Thanksgiving meal, 2 full pans of pulled pork and some sides. Let me just say everything was absolutely amazing! The turkey was so moist! Everyone had a third plate! Will be ordering from here for now on! Also, let me give a quick thank you to everyone that cooked the food on Thanksgiving day. You guys made my first year hosting Thanksgiving great!

Ordered food online curb pick up. Sat in car for over 15 mins no one ever came out. I double checked to make sure i arrived myself. Went in the restaurant was not full. My food was sitting on counter top. I ask about my order the man just hands me the bag. The Okra was soggy cold, bread the same food had been sitting packaged on counter. I wasted my entire 30 min lunch in the parking lot for nasty food and horrible service. No sorry would you like a drink, I didn’t have time to take back in. Want ever eat here again for lunch.

Stopped in for lunch. First time here. You order at counter and they call you up when it’s ready. Food came quick, staff very friendly. Got the Judge’s sampler with chicken, brisket, ribs, pulled pork, 2 sides, 2 pieces of cornbread and Texas toast. Excellent. Recommend!
