If you stop for pizza anywhere, STOP HERE! The New York Specialty Pizza was the best American pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza had enough support where if I picked it up the toppings stayed on but wasn’t so heavy that I was full after the first two slices. I was able the finish a small pizza and two beers after an hour of sitting and people
-watching by the window since I had time to waste. Cathy was my server, and she was so kind and sweet that I would’ve gotten dessert if I wasn’t so full! It was my first time in the area and I had a great experience here!

I have been coming here for years now, yet I am finally getting around to writing a review. This is one of my go to parlours and they have never let me down in the multitude of times I have ordered from them. I normally get a to go but I did eat in house one time some years back and had the which is also good. I normally get a Supreme/Deluxe whenever I order a or I just make my own combo of toppings but on my last visit I got their meat lovers which I think is probably the best meat lovers I have ever had. Definitely give these guys a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Scilian dish pizza, super kind waitress. could’ve been faster but that might have been because of rush hour dinner. Bench was a little wobbly but otherwise super amazing! 10/10 Such a cool place and delicious pizza!

First time here, had such great service. The waitress was warm and welcoming and was very quick on service. The pizza was a perfect New York style and only took about 15 minutes. The wings were crispy and a perfect starter. They definitely have gained another supporter as I will be returning again.

Ate some dinner here with friends before hitting the Byrd. A tad crammed but still cozy. Staff was friendly and the menu looked great (lots of options!) I went with the Linguini Alfredo. My friends ordered various lovely dishes including Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and a Roast Beef sub. Will definitely be back to try something else when I’m in the area again! Oh…and their free bread was nice too ha!

As a native New Yorker and a pizza connoisseur, okay maybe a snob, I’ve had a lot of pizza in my lifetime and grew up eating Ray’s Original in NYC! I can’t believe I’m going to say this next thing, but Mary Angela’s pizza is hands down the BEST PIZZA I’ve had in my life! I recently moved to Richmond and I was convinced that I wouldn’t find any good pizza and would have to settle for meh pizza. But, that is not the case and Mary Angela’s has already become my pizza Friday spot! But, place your order early don’t wait for prime time on a Friday because everyone else knows it’s the best too! Plus the staff is friendly and welcoming I dream about Fridays and taking that first bite. The ratio btw sauce, to cheese to crust is perfection! The sauce though is out of this world. There are usually two kinds of sauce, sweet or savory. But, Mary Angela’s had perfected a combo that is incredible. I’m not a crust eater either, but they add rosemary to the crust and you can taste it down to the very last bite. Okay, let’s get to the cheese now, most pizza places (in my opinion) don’t add enough cheese you know you want to take a bite and have to pull the cheesy part off that’s how you know the cheese ratio is right and let me tell you, that moment you bite into it, and everything hits your tastebuds and your pulling the cheesy part off is literally heaven!

have been eating here for about 16, years love it, the staff is excellent. coming from New York love that the pizza slices are same size as they were when I lived in New York. I always get a Greek salad a my pizza delicious.

We ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night. The food was ready before the estimated time. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing. I am not accustomed to having red sauce on a buffalo chicken pizza but it was a really nice touch. Our friends had a calzone which they raved about. The staff was super friendly. I would absolutely come back here.
