Located just outside Downtown Dunedin you might drive straight past this place but it’s worth the stop. Opted for a cooked breakfast with pancakes, which were definitely the highlight. Delicious, hot and fluffy! Husband got an omelette which didn’t look as appetizing but he seemed to be happy with it. He wasn’t keen on the home fries though as they were more of a hashed potato and not very crispy which was a shame but all of my items were to my liking. Our waitress Sherry was super friendly and welcoming and definitely brightens the place up. Thank you Sherry for your cheery service!

I have been on the hunt for the best Greek Omelette in the area. I have tried 6 different restaurants and Pete’s wins hands down! Friendly, quick service, yummy food and great value.

Wonderful little diner. I had the french toast, bacon, eggs. Breakfast companion had the biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. All delicious. Service outstanding, our waitress was very fun and kind. Ordered sausage links for the table which were highly recommended and very good as well. Will definitely be back! Support local!

Scramble bowl was delicious. Sheree is a super nice waitress. Atmosphere is ok. This restaurant is more tailored to an older crowd but still cozy. Nice place to stop and eat while waiting for my laundry to be done.

If Cheers were a Diner, this place would be the Cheers of Dunedin. We went here two days in a row, and everything we had was perfection. The whole time, we kept hearing “Hi Bob! Hi Johnny! Bye Susan!” It is the friendliest and most welcoming diner. We sat right down and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious!

It was our first time at the restaurant. It was pretty busy, but the service was quick and friendly. Our food arrived quickly and everything was tasty and cooked as ordered. The coffee service was nice, too. A waitress came around 3 times to offer refills.

In the Dunedin area after a couple early appointments and looking for a brunch spot. A quick check of higher ratings pulled up Pete’s. And the comments affirmed that, so we were off. Found it easily and glanced at today’s specials then were seated immediately.
We glanced over the menu. My eyes caught the Biscuits & Gravy but then I spotted the
Pete’s Scramble. Biscuits & Gravy with scrambled eggs & cheese, topped with crisp Bacon! It was tough because everything looked great. Especially the food at the tables around us.
My wife discovered the Scramble Bowl. It reminded her of her Father’s Hillbilly Stew served three times a day when squirrel hunting with Dad and three boys. One pound Bacon fried crisp. Add one large Onion diced and 5 pounds of par boiled potatoes. Then finish with a dozen eggs. Sounded boring when I joined them but after several hours walking in the woods, it was great.
I also ordered a side of cheese grits to share but both our plates were huge, so half went home for another day.
Service was great, food was excellent. Great prices. My wife is already planning to bring her girlfriends here!

Great place to eat. Perfect diner atmosphere with great customer service. Breakfast was terrific. My wife marveled over her eggs, Benedict, and I had a breakfast bowl that I substituted scrambled eggs for poached. I’m looking forward to trying their meat loaf.
