Food was excellent. Atmosphere was about avg. The service was abv average but not the best ive had at an indian buffet. Let me iterate again, the food was excellent. It made up for the faults in other areas by far. Id come for the food anytime. Im not indian and my family was the only nonindian family there so it might mean its authentic. Good for them. I hope they stay in business and i hope ti visit them again next year when im here.

My wife and I were out looking for a place to eat and found this gem, “ Taste of India Destin”. We didn’t know what a treat it would be. Warmly greeted as we came in and ushered to our table. There’s a great selection on the menu. We had Masala Papad for starters fantastic! The main course was Mutton Rara with rice and Naan. The Mutton was so so so good nice heat. We quenched our thirst with a bottle of red wine (Malbec). To finish off the meal we had Gulab Jamun and mango ice cream for dessert. The staff go out of their way to take care of you. This place is a must if you’re in the area! See ya soon….

The food, hospitality, and overall atmosphere is phenomenal! We stopped in to have an early dinner. The waiter so welcoming and our food was so tasty! We both got curry! The spices were amazing and the meat was so tender! They also have a homemade Mango drink that is out of this world! I highly recommend recommend this restaurant!

We were greeted warmly by Salim when we entered, and he immediately made us feel welcome. I have several dietary restrictions and needed my meal prepared without many common ingredients (onion, garlic, tomatoes, asafoetida, green chili, etc.). The team was incredibly accommodating and prepared a delicious yellow lentil dal with rice customized exactly to my needs.
It was such a relief to find a restaurant that respects special dietary requests while still serving authentic and flavorful food. While we were in Destin, this was one of the best dining experiences we had. They also offer a popular lunch buffet that’s definitely worth trying.
Highly recommend visiting at least once—you won’t be disappointed!

Me and the wife hit Taste of India up at least once a week. We love the atmosphere, and the staff. We are always greeted cordially each and every time. The food is amazing and I recommend if you are ever in Destin, definitely go by and I promise you will be going back time and time again. Their professionalism is the reason they are voted as a top restaurant.

AMAZING FOOD!!! Oh man, I hope I am spelling his name right – our waiter, Shobha, he was fantastic! Very friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help at any moment.
The food though, some of THE BEST INDIAN CUISINE we’ve ever tasted in the Southeast United States. We are big Indian food lovers and love about an hour from this restaurant but were craving some tasty curry and this was perfect.
The heat of the bullet naan, the velvety curries and the smooth presentation. 5 stars all the way around.
We will drive back for the buffet some day soon, apparently it’s daily from 11am-2pm.
