This place is so good it’s crazy by far the best pizza in Sandy, probably even Gresham. My son and I came in after a long day on the mountain & they were BUSY. We waited like, 30 seconds while they cleared a table for us and we were immediately sat. Pizza took WAY less time than I thought it would (says 30 mins on the menu) and was so perfect The owner was making his rounds, talking to every table, helping his staff bus/run food/etc it was amazing to see. I’ve worked in fine dining for awhile now, and was throughly impressed. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Thanks so much Gavin and Cassandra, you’re the best!

Well if you can tell by the pictures the fish wasn’t cooked all the way it was soggy and and yucky and the salad was supposed to have chicken in it and it didn’t. And the salad costed like $16 $17 prices are out of this world. Too expensive and the service they they were snobby because I asked to have the fish brought back and cooked and they copped an attitude with me. I was very disappointed. I heard that place was good to eat at. It’s always busy but for some reason I did not have a good experience

Food was decent. Not much flavor but still alright. Server was nice. We came in later than we like, close ish to closing, (Plenty of time to order, get food and eat though) and when she came over to let us know that they were closing in 10 mins she was very kind about it and didn’t sound like she was rushing us. They close when it’s listed they close. Grill gets turned off before closings. I’m not sure what time but before she told us they were closing in 10 mins, she had been talking to people that had just walked in and she said the grill was shutting down and they wouldn’t be able to order anything. (If you come in within the last hour of closing, be sure to pay attention to the staff. Pay attention to what they say to others that come in after you (if you can). You can usually tell when a place is about to close. You can help the staff out if you know when they are closing and be done by then. I keep my phone out so I can keep an eye on the time so we are always out before close.

If you’re in Sandy and haven’t been to Smokey Hearth Restaurant Bar & Grill yet, you’re seriously missing out.
The food is always delicious. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor—from their juicy burgers to their wood-fired pizzas. The portions are generous, so you definitely leave full and happy.
What really makes this place stand out though is the atmosphere. It has that laid-back local vibe where families and friends can hangout and enjoy food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they care about the community and the people who come in.
Great food, great service, and a fun environment—it’s easily one of the best spots to grab a meal in Sandy.

Gavin was amazing! He put up with my friends and I the entire evening while we were nothing but a menace. His banter and quick wit was thoroughly enjoyable and still provided sqoft food and drink. If you can enjoy him as your server, I HIGHLY recommend! He made our experience so enjoyable! THANK YOU, GAVIN!

Two of my friends and I met here for lunch today, and were more than pleased that we did. One of my friends got the apple/walnut salad, and my other friend and I split the mozzarella cheese sticks and a cobb salad. Our server, Stephanie, split everything for us, which was such a helpful thing for her to do. After we finished, we ordered the lava cake and the strawberry cake to split among us.
Our meals were incredibly delicious, and they were really attractive as well. The desserts were out of this world…so yummy.
I’d like to give a special shout-out to Stephanie; she was an awesome server, giving us a friendly greeting when we arrived, and was attentive and helpful all the way through our meal. She is a real asset to this restaurant and is a perfect example of how a server should be.
We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great experience!

Came in for lunch during our spring break vacation in the area. Food was great. Fun atmosphere. Staff seem happy to work here and helpful.
Brisket dinner with brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato was excellent! Ring of fire was good quality, just not super spicy. Kids meals were standard, with a good serving size for all.
My husband is a disabled veteran with a service dog and they set us up at a good spot to accommodate the service dog.

Food was good and came out quick. They are good at substitutions for the meal. No hassle whatsoever. I had the smoked brisket plate and it came well proportioned. A reminder that this is pulled brisket and not sliced. The cheese pizza was excellent.
