We saw videos of this place online and decided to add it to the list of places to visit while on our road trip. The atmosphere was pretty cool considering we love bowling and the ocean.
My family got some kid floats/drinks to share cause they looked really fun and sounded good. They were $7 each, and you get to keep the fish bowl cup they give you. The drinks ended up being cool looking and tasted really good! Only issue was that over half our game of bowling was over by the time we got them. The server was super nice, it just took a long time to get some drinks.
We went on Thursday morning so maybe thats why, but there was only two employees at the place and a manager and they were almost never to be found when we needed help, (which was often) The machine kept keeping our balls after almost every single turn or sometimes it would spit back out a completely different one. Took a while to find help, and when we did, it took a long time for some thing to happen. A manager ended up moving us to a different lane for the technical difficulties and gave us some minutes back in our game, cause time was still going down, even though the whole game had stopped and we hit for help/service button on the screen.
Overall it was a cool stop, if we ever came back, it would probably be on a busier day of the week so maybe there would be more staff to help.

Uncle Buck’s is funky and beachy in all the right ways. From sharks, tunas, and just about everything hanging up above you, it feels like you were dropped into the ocean and weighted down by a bowling ball along the way. Since Uncle Buck’s is technically part of the attached Bass Pro Shops it’s pretty easy to find parking. The downside of that is that just about everyone who went shopping next door is coming here after. We had to wait about 45 minutes in order to get a lane here, which really wasn’t a difficult wait as they have a bar and restaurant, arcade, and the actual Bass Pro Shops next door.

When we were eventually called for our lane we were pretty excited to get started. We ordered a strawberry lemonade, pina colada, fried pickles, and churro sticks to start alongside our bowling. We were surprised that the food wasn’t really all that bad for bowling alley standards. It wasn’t great, but hey, it’s a bowling alley. Service was decent too despite it being pretty packed. Ironically, the worst part of the experience was the bowling. The lanes are pretty narrow and that extends to the bay where you sit down. It’s pretty hard to get back and forth from bowling having to crawl over a lot of people. Also, we ran into issues over and over with the lane itself taking a long time to register which pins were knocked over and when to fully reset. We bowled only 1.5 games in a full hour with only 4 people. We could’ve easily bowled another full game at most places. This probably would’ve been a lot more annoying had the place itself not been so fun and endearing.

That’s probably the best way to put Uncle Buck’s, it’s endearing. It’s funky, has its fun vibe, but is kinda rundown in the good kinda way. Looks like the kids love it and it’s refreshing to see these quirky spots still open and operating. Don’t think we’d necessarily look to come back but we honestly wouldn’t mind coming back either.

Don’t go just for the restaurant – more useful if you’re already planning to bowl or play the arcades. Food was pretty blah/salty/heavily fried, and expensive. Or can be an exciting experience overall, but it’s not a traditional setting.

We loved this place! The bowling alley is beautifully decorated in an underwater theme. Alligator bites and loaded tots were delicious, theme drinks were right on point. Can’t wait till our next visit.

We came here because it was on our Pogo pass and it turned out pretty awesome! The whole place is themed and decked out with sharks, fish, turtles and other under the sea creatures floating above. The ambiance is great fun for the kids. The Pogo pass gave us a free $10 game card per person, which lasted the kids maybe about 20 minutes, but they had a good time and then they got to pick out prizes. We also did bowling which they really enjoyed. We ordered some appetizers and the sliders on the Happy hour menu. We had four adults so we all decided to split the fish bowl cocktail. It was a fun novelty and was enough for all four of us. Overall it was a fun outing with friends.

**The fried pickles were super salty, but our server was really understanding and swapped them out for the loaded tots and they were sooo good.

Restaurant / bowling alley / arcade located in Bass Pro Shops. Going here is a one of a kind experience. It felt like I was in Las Vegas or something. The whole place including the bowling alley and dining room has an incredibly well done underwater / nautical theme. I would say it’s worth going for the atmosphere alone. Went with some friends at around 6, and the whole place was strangely empty. I ordered the buffalo chicken taco, which was OK. It was basically just a large spicy chicken tender in a tortilla with some fried pickles. Other green vegetables were nowhere to be seen. Overall recommend just for the unique and surreal experience of it all.

Food was great for a bowling alley! Our server Darius helped us out multiple times and made sure everything was perfect. Bowling was fun, and everything was clean. We’d come again for sure!

So I came here to celebrate my 46th birthday. My best friend surprised me because she knows I LOVE bowling and OMG she brought me to the perfect place. It was such a cool atmosphere. The fish, the underwater theme, the scuba diver in the cage…I loved it. Now, as far as food, we unfortunately came on a night when I guess alot of the workers went to prom. The only thing they were serving on the menu was pizza. Some of the people with me didn’t even like pizza. We still did the bowling and had a couple of drinks and our server Sophie was amazing. I could see the poor girl was stressed out, but she was still so sweet. She kept a smile on her face and she checked on us. She let us set up my cake and balloons in the little room next to our land so we can have more space. Again, Sophie was AMAZING!! I even shared some of my birthday cake with her. We will definitely go back, but hopefully it is a night where we can get more than pizza.

We did not care too much for the food, but the atmosphere made this venue totally worth it. The queso was not good at all, the pretzel was gigantic and good, and the pizza was ok. It’s so much fun bowling with an underwater theme. The bumper can’t come up automatic. The service was fantastic. It was truly a fun time.

I stopped by last Tuesday after a work trip in Dallas, for a quick bite and some drinks and it was everything I was hoping for. The loaded tots were AMAZING as well as the Gator bites. The service was phenomenal, specifically from Tereza. She was very attentive and makes excellent drinks! I would highly recommend coming here if you’re in town and want to grab quick bite!
