We spent Christmas morning having breakfast at the IHOP in East Cobb, and it was a reminder of why my family and I have been loyal regulars here since the mid-1990s. Even after all these years, this location never disappoints. It was especially nice to take a break from cooking on Christmas morning and know with confidence that we’d leave happy—and we absolutely did.
One of the things that truly sets this IHOP apart is the people. It was great to see so many familiar faces who have been part of this location for years, which says a lot about the consistency and culture here. Our server, Gabby—who has been with this IHOP for over 20 years—was phenomenal. She spread genuine holiday cheer, was warm and attentive, and took excellent care of our family from start to finish.
As for the food, my go-to Colorado Omelette was once again outstanding—light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. It was perfectly complemented by equally great pancakes and well-prepared breakfast potatoes. Everything came out just the way it should.
While this location isn’t quite as convenient for us as it once was since we’ve moved, it’s always worth the extra drive. This IHOP continues to deliver great food, friendly service, and a sense of familiarity that keeps us coming back year after year. Christmas breakfast here felt like a tradition well kept.

The pancakes are great! The water tasted awful though. This location desperately needs some kind of water filter. Something is definitely off with their water.
The service was great. Everybody was very nice and friendly!
They have plenty of parking at this location. This location is in the parking lot of the Walmart on Johnson ferry Road. The coffee was just OK and all they had available. Were those little half-and-half cups that are not fresh.

Ihop has always been my favorite place to enjoy a good hot meal since I was a little girl. I never wanted to eat any where else but Ihop. Over the years things changed with the restaurant industry, service and food quality and I stop going until me and my daughter found this Ihop location. We walked in was greeted with good morning and a smile from a young lady coming out of the kitchen area….something you don’t find to much anymore. The young man who seated us greeted us with a smile and took us to our table. Our server was Bianca and she was the most beautiful and friendly server we’ve had in awhile. She took order, brought our drinks in a timely matter and our food came fresh and hot. Bianca always served us with a smile and making sure our needs was met. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was inviting and felt like you’re home enjoying a good meal. We paid for our meal, but I couldn’t leave until I spoke with the manager to let them know what beautiful warm family friendly restaurant this Ihop has shown me and my daughter. So the young got the manager Chris, and I told him our experience here was beautiful from the service, food and staff and I thank him for being such a warm friendly manager as I did see him interacting with the guess. He thank me and my daughter and welcome us back anytime. Thank you our new Ihop family!!!

Absolutely love this IHOP! Every visit feels like coming home, especially thanks to our amazing waiter, Ryan. He always goes above and beyond to make us feel like family. The service is consistently friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this location to anyone—whether you’re with family, friends, or just grabbing a bite solo. Husband said “honestly, the best experience at IHOP I’ve had”. The customer service was great. We had Robin as our server and she was attentive. The food was great. Husband got a breakfast burrito and maple bacon pancakes. The pancakes were too sweet for me, but tasted exactly like a maple bacon donut. I got the chicken biscuit, which was fantastic! And pumpkin spice pancakes on the side. Also, the cookie butter shake was amazing. Yum! Overall, a wonderful night.

The worst breakfast experience I have had in a while. They open at 7am and my son and I arrived at 715. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We were seated right away and ordered within 4 mins. I wanted to make sure I could get my son to school on-time. 10 mins later the I noticed no one was in the kitchen. I inquired about our food and was told 2-3 more minutes. 10 more mins and still no food. Another group of customers comes and orders. We finally see movement in the kitchen. We got our order pancakes and eggs. The other tables food came out at the same time. My pancakes were under cooked and the sausage was cold. This is the second time I have had poor service at this location. I do not recommend this location before 8am if you have somewhere to be.

Excellent service and quick to receive our breakfast. I ordered the two eggs,French toast,sausage,bacon and coffee. Rob the veteran got his free breakfast of eggs, bacon and pancakes with the flag of whipped cream,straw berries and blueberries with a coke. Our waitress was great and so was our food. We will be back. Everyone there was very friendly a happy start to our day. Thank you Ihop for Rob’s breakfast. ❤️

this place always gives me a warmth of nostalgia providing meals that drawls you back to childhood. one of my faves for brunch is the country-fried steak, it’s crispy and tender and the meal provides a side of eggs (cooked to preference) as well as a side of hash browns. then to venture out to new dishes, i’ve tried the burger and the turkey melt which are pretty tasty as well. to top off my experiences the service has always been so friendly (like chickfila vibes lol) which is always a great way to enjoy your meal!

This is by far the Best IHOP location in the city and surrounding areas. Von is the Best Manager I’ve seen in my life eating at IHops. If you’re ever in town or not (definitely worth the drive) and you’re looking for a FRESH hot meal with an amazing staff you definitely need enjoy the real IHOP experience.
