Great food and even better Bloody Marys! Stopped in for a late breakfast on Saturday. All the tables were reserved but luckily they had room to eat at the bar. We both opted for the breakfast specials. A steak breakfast burrito and Cajun hash with poached egg. The Cajun hash was excellent. I opted for a pancake as a side. It was also excellent. Looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Went to Otto’s for an early Halloween dinner. We were seated right away and the service was great throughout. They have a great bourbon and beer menu. The place has a great atmosphere. Everything we had was terrific. The cornbread, flatbread , and tomato soup were all fantastic. The short ribs were split up for us and were so tender and delicious. The veggies, mashed potatoes, and the gravy were amazing. Loved our time there.

Otto’s is a delight! I took my mom for her birthday and even though we didn’t have a reservation we were seated quickly at the bar. Our bartender, Chad, was wonderful and took care of our food order, made our drinks, and really succeeded in making this a special birthday celebration! My mom got the breakfast burrito special and I had the BLFGT, bacon lettuce tomato and the best fried green tomato in town with an egg on a croissant. We also had the special sticky bun and it was incredible!!!This place is so cozy and delicious!

Had a fantastic dinner here at Otto’s on Main St. in Covington today. Atmosphere is very nice; low light and perfect for date night.
Logan took care of me at the bar, and was a delight. My steak came out a little under, and Logan took care of it quickly and politely. The food was incredible. Trust me, try the cornbread. It’s a shame I’m only here for business, because this would definitely be a regular place for me.

We went here off of a recommendation from family. We can see why. It was comfort food with a New Orleans twist. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta dish. I love how the chicken was shredded, you could taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the sauce was gravy-like and creamy. My fiancé had the braised short ribs which was tender, it said it reminded him of home mama used to make. There was a hint of nostalgia in each dish. The fried green tomatoes a tasty appetizer to begin with. It is a quaint, little place. It can be a little loud. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and inattentive at times, but overall that doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

What more can be said other than Otto’s just doesn’t miss. We have had the pleasure of dining at Otto’s a couple times and man is it worth the trip over the bridge to this very quaint gem. Let’s start with the ambiance. There is a bar and one simple dining area that seats maybe 50 people when it’s full, so seating can be kinda intimate. The lighting is romantic for a date night, but also adequate if you’re out with a small group. This is NOT a place you bring a party of more than 8 or so. There is a garage literally just a few steps from the front door, so parking is pretty easy. The service is also a feather in the cap of Otto’s. We found our server to be attentive and present without rushing us or being over bearing. She provided recommendations not only to us, but you could hear her doing the same at other tables when asked. Now, the food, and while the menu isn’t expansive, which I actually tend to prefer (so making decisions is less complicated) it is plenty diverse with something for pretty much anyone. We started out with bread service, which is their signature cornbread. Not complicated, but simple and delicious for I think about $6… Worth every penny. I had the pistachio crusted halibut, which was served over a bed of pear and goat cheese risotto. OMG is all I can say about the flavors in this dish. If licking the plate was an acceptable behavior while out you eat, this would have been a meal that warrants that kind of behavior. The portion was more than adequate and if I’m looking for something even remotely critical to say about my meal, it would be that I wish there was a little more of the pear and goat cheese in my risotto. The risotto made for the perfect blend between it’s creamy but subtle sweetness and the savory-ness of the halibut. Easily a 9/10 level meal for under $50. My wife had the pan seared pork chop with an apple bacon chutney. This came with fingerling potatoes as well and of course I had to sample her meal because it looked magnificent. Looks weren’t deceiving because her pork chop was perfectly cooked and juicy with a nice crisp to it. The wine list is adequate as I paired my meal with a very nice glass of an Italian chardonnay. We were offered dessert, but simply didn’t have the room. All told, we were in and out in just under an hour with a 7:15 reservation and just over $100 with bread, two glasses of wine and two incredible meals. If you’re looking for a great meal with incredible service at a reasonable price, you have to give Otto’s a try…I bet you won’t be disappointed! Photos attached of our meals.

Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. And I also wanted to compliment Annie M.
