We stopped in West Yellowstone and randomly found the Timberline whilst shopping and exploring. It was a nice looking diner-type restaurant, and to be honest, it was just ok. The service was just ok, and the food was just ok. we were there for lunch, and I went with the slider sampler. One (the bison) was good, one (the elk) was ok, and one (the mixed meats) was just eh. I got a couple bits of bone in the mixed meat one, which was not great. My wife got the hot turkey sammich. Again, it was just ok.

Main course come with all you can eat salad bar and soup. With the price you pay, the best food so far here at west yellow stone.
We order meatloaf spaghetti and fish and chip. The cod fish is fresh with crispy hand made fries. Spaghetti is quite soaky but we like though.

They shouldn’t have pasta on their menu since they clearly don’t know what it is. We got the pasta and sweet potato fries. The fries were good. The ketchup from their bottle felt expired, it was runny & funky, did not risk eating that. You also get soup with your dish – the soup was decent. The service wasn’t great excellent and it is a nice dinning place.

Only came here because we got free coupons from the hotel we were staying at. I ordered the veggie omelet, which arrived swimming in oil. We couldn’t reorder or go elsewhere since we were running late. I used my napkin to absorb the oil, but even at the end of the meal, there was a layer of oil on the plate. The eggs lacked salt. The side potatoes lacked flavor, not even salt.

A nice brunch place. They have a lot of good food options. Their omelettes were particularly good. One of the many pancakes we ordered wasn’t properly cooked and felt doughy. The service was quick even for our table size of 8.

A good breakfast at the Timberline Café. People were kind, the place was cozy and the food was good too. In my opinion they have a very good coffee here. Two eggs breakfast with Canadian ham was excellent. Prices are ok considering the tourist area. Well appreciated.

The food tasted weird. Vegetarian burger was just okay. Sphagetti pasta with marinara sauce looked like a canned sauce put over boiled noodles.
Chicken soup was really terrible.

Stopped for some lunch here after going to the Grizzley and Wolf center. They have great food and delicious Huckleberry Lemonade. Would eat here again. Awesome salad bar too.

Food was ok but the server never let us know about the salad or soup and never gave a choice of fries, baked potato etc. Ironic that this picture was taken at our table. We did ask and she was rude. Very poor service. Felt like an inconvenience

Cold fries, burnt buns, tiny sliders, would not come back.
After driving for many hours we had a large party and this was the only place I could sit down immediately. Unfortunately our experience was not the best and would not come back. I think it’s unfortunate side effect of a touristy area.
For a $15 dollar bison burger the buns were burnt and so was the burger.
The $17 sliders were mini sliders compared to what you even get at a chain like BJ’s Brewery.
The fries were cold and the meal was less than okay for $90.
