I had a pretty disappointing experience here on Friday. To start, the service actually seemed promising; we were given plenty of options and a good rundown of the menu. Unfortunately, that was the peak of the evening.
Once our order was placed, our server virtually vanished. We didn’t see him again until we had to physically flag him down because one of our dishes didn’t match the menu description. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the server simply said he didn’t know and would “tell the manager.”
A manager eventually came over to insist the dish was correct, despite the menu saying otherwise. After some back-and-forth, they offered to take it off the bill or make something else. The strangest part was when the cook came out and claimed they could make it the way the menu described—which begs the question: why wasn’t it prepared that way to begin with?
The Food:
Samosas: These were actually quite good and the highlight of my meal.
Saag Chicken: My wife enjoyed her meal, even though the presentation was questionable (honestly, it looked like something you’d find in a diaper). I tried a bite, and despite the look, the flavor was actually pretty good.
Indian Tacos: Stay away from these. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering them.

This was SO good! The food was delicious! My wife got butter chicken I got a paneer dish with vegetables in a masala sauce and they actually made them spicy! We ordered masala chai that tasted great and the naan was the best I’ve ever had! I’ve been thinking about it and talking about it for DAYS. The staff were friendly and polite and checked on us often. The restaurant its self was bright and comfortable and CLEAN. The bathrooms were done of if not the cleanest ones we’ve seen in a restaurant. We loved our visit and have told others and are planning to go back with our kids.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was delighted! They have a lunch buffet on weekends and the selections are varied and delicious! The first dish I tried was the goat curry and it was so flavourful and the goat was tender. I got several things and all of them were yummy. There wasn’t a single bad dish. I feel remiss I didn’t mentally note the name of the other dishes I got but the meat was so juicy, tender, full of flavour and it was wonderful! I was taken aback at how much was still in the serving dish of one that I tried; it should be far more popular than it is! They serve fresh naan and have a section for desserts and they’re GOOD! The Seviyan stole my heart and I had to go back for seconds! I will most definitely come back here. The staff are very polite, attentive and kind. The establishment is kept clean and tidy. It’s nice and quiet with modern Indian music playing at a pleasant volume in the background. I’m thinking of making this a monthly ritual of mine~

The appetizers arrived quickly, were flavorful, and had a satisfying crunch, which was an excellent start to the meal. I also have to praise the naan, which was perfectly done with just the right touch of butter, making it a standout item.
However, some aspects fell short of expectations. The main course looked beautiful and colorful, but the flavors were disappointing. The rice had a soapy taste, the chicken’s flavor was mild rather than bold, and it even had a slight gamey taste. Despite ordering the spiciest option, the dish tasted rather mild. While the dessert (a mango and pistachio Indian-style ice cream) had an interesting flavor, the fruit portions were icy and crystallized instead of creamy, although the milk portion was smooth. It was inconsistent.
The ambiance could also use improvement. The lighting was dim, the booth felt cramped, and the wall color wasn’t particularly inviting. Even the restaurant’s scent didn’t evoke the rich aromas I associate with authentic Indian dining.
In summary, India Palace excels in hospitality and has a few strong dishes, like its naan and appetizers. But with some improvements to flavor consistency, spice levels, and overall atmosphere, it could truly shine as a top dining destination.

Loved this experience! Best dosa we’ve had in the states. Some of the best Indian food too. I’ve been with my husband for five years, he’s Indian, so we always try to find a local spot. This place has outdone most! 10/10 will recommend to try them.

We went for the weekend lunch buffet after seeing many positive reviews for this Indian restaurant. The onion rice wasn’t quite what we expected — it tasted mostly like plain rice with just a few onions mixed in. Some batches of chicken were a bit tough, while the refilled ones were much better, so there seems to be some inconsistency in preparation.
On the positive side, if you enjoy North Indian dishes, this place has a good variety and flavors to match. However, if you prefer South Indian–style food, it might not quite meet your expectations. Overall, a decent experience but not exactly what we were hoping for.

we came for Sunday Buffett. thoroughly enjoyed the mango lassi and kheer. the staff are friendly and the good was delicious. most of the dishes were not very spicy, so I think it would be easy enough to add heat if wanted. but this way even those with heat intolerance could about the majority of the good food. some vegetarian options available.

We ordered the lunch specials, which came as generous platters with three distinct dishes, fresh salad, and perfectly cooked rice. Each tray included a rice pudding dessert that was absolutely exceptional.
They also mentioned they will be serving a house made chocolate mousse on Thanksgiving, and the staff was kind enough to let us sample it early. It was incredible. Light, pillowy, softly bouncy, and miles beyond the dense whipped cream style mousses you get elsewhere. Truly memorable.
The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the meal even better.
If you go (and you should), I strongly recommend the Malai Kofta or the Butter Chicken. Fantastic food, fantastic people, absolutely worth your time.

We visited this delightful restaurant on Christmas night. They offered a special Christmas only menu where you received appetizers main course and then a complementary dessert. It was amazing. I intended to take pictures of each part of the meal as I ate it, but after the first bite, it was so good. I just kept eating. So all I could take was pictures of the empty plates! The servers were very attentive and very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was jovial and pleasant. If this is their Christmas meal, I can’t wait to eat the regular menu food. This is the place. I will return to over and over. I wouldn’t mind for every day to be Christmas with that kind of offering.
