Every single food was bad.. it’s sad because we remember it to be good in this place that is why we were very excited to celebrate my son’s birthday here. The supposedly hot soup came cold. The garlic beef weren’t tasty. The mussels had an odd taste. The shrimp tempura were soggy. The sweet and sour shrimp, shrimp were not fresh and had a strong aftertaste. The orders were skipped and we had to follow up a lot. We basically just gave up and asked for the ice cream dessert. We got tiniest scoop and when we were about to stand some of the orders started coming.

Very small portion. I have visit there with my friend we paid over 90 cad. And on receipt they including automatically 10% tips. Ginger and wasabi looks like they put from yesterday. Looks not fresh at all. I dont think I m gonna visit that place again.

We asked something about our order and they responded so rude specially the manager/counter. We asked the other server but she interfered and intimidated us with her loud voice. The food was nice in the first serve but the second one are so bad. The chicken katsu has a lot of oil as if it wasnt drained enough.

This place was the biggest mistake of my life, garbage food and garbage service. We got here at 6 and they told us we only have 2 hours for our all you can eat, and proceeded to take an hour every order, we barely are anything and im still hungry but i cant stand this place anymore.

There is an older waiter with an extremely bad attitude. She walked away before we even finished talking. And her tone was extremely impatient. She even said they were very tired. If you’re tired, you can take a day off to rest — customers are not here to deal with your bad attitude.

Easily the worst all-you-can-eat sushi in Winnipeg. The staff were rude and super slow, the food was inconsistent, and we had to reorder multiple times just to get our food, sometimes waiting over 30 minutes. It felt like they purposely dragged out serving to make us full on less food. We used 1.5 hours of our time waiting. Definitely not worth it. (edit: the beef was undercooked aswell almost raw.)

Would give 0 stars for service if we could!

Friendly staff until we had a complaint about the beef. Ordered beef tataki and it was super chewy to the point you can’t even swallow. I ask the server for a replacement as the cut of beef was off (not against the grain and too thick with silver skin attached).

2 older lady Chinese servers were very rude. They said the following:
“This is AAA beef. No way can be bad”
“All day no complaints”
“You must eat as it’s super expensive and a waste to throw away”
“If you don’t finish all of it we will charge you $1 per piece no matter what”

I calmly explained to them that this is not edible. If you can’t chew and continue to swallow you can choke to death.
They over reacted and laughed. Then continued to ignore us for the rest of dinner service.

Went to counter to pay the bill as they ignored us. The older lady said it’s $10 extra cause you did not finish. I said no and she was extremely mad. She demanded for us to pay for extra charge. I let her know I won’t be paying extra as it is not edible. I asked for their manager.
No manager is available. I asked for supervisor. No supervisor available. I asked to speak to the boss/owner of this restaurant. They said the boss is in China and I’m not allowed to speak to them.
At the end she was super mad and didn’t charge us the extra but threw the bill at us once we paid.
My wife spoke Chinese to the older lady for her to understand better. She then was yelling at my wife super loudly. They are in denial and doesn’t think there is any problem with the food. Older lady said in Chinese “My English is not good enough to argue with your husband. This beef is expensive and you should eat it.”
Disrespecting my wife, they got into an argument very loudly making sure the whole restaurant heard everything in Chinese.

The servers had no shame and no staff in the entire restaurant spoke English or “pretended” not to understand, genuine complaints.

We felt embarrassed as everyone was staring. But the staff there wasn’t at all, as they think if the louder they talked the more we would back down as a paying customer. Crazy how staff are yielding at paying customers in front of other customers while they are trying to enjoy a meal.

We will be trying to contact someone about this as this isn’t acceptable anywhere in Canada for the abuse we received.

The food is good; the service is absolutely terrible. Start to finish it took about 2 hours to get two orders in and eat. No server came to our table in those 2 hours, I went up to the counter to request a drink and place the second order. Both orders came out incorrectly. There’s an automatic 10% tip added to the bill; not sure for what since we had no server…

Dude, I gotta give this place a bad review. The front desk staff’s attitude was super terrible. They even tried to force a 10% tip! I took my mom, who’s in her 70s, to this restaurant at 11 a.m. It was already open and snowing heavily outside, so we went in to wait. A middle – aged guy told us to take any seat we wanted and said we’d have to wait a bit since they’d just opened. We said it was cool.

Then a lady at the front desk told us to sit at a certain spot. We said the seats by the door were too cold and since there were empty seats inside, we wanted to sit there. She got really mad and told us that next time we had to wait for her to assign us seats… and we couldn’t even come in right away! I was like, “It’s freezing out there and the door’s wide open!” We were totally speechless. So we ended up going to another joint.

I recently visited this restaurant and was very disappointed with my experience. Even though the place just opened for the day, the server was quite rude and not welcoming at all. For this kind of business, you’d expect staff to be friendly and eager to make a good impression, but that wasn’t the case here.

What made it worse is that even though we paid full price, several items on the menu were unavailable. It’s frustrating to be charged the same when so much is missing from the menu.

The restaurant itself has potential, but the poor service and limited options really left a bad first impression. I hope management works on improving customer service and making sure the full menu is available before charging full price.
