We really really wanted to like this place, as it’s the only option for a nicer date night in mount pleasant. We have tried it 2 times in the past week and both times left extremely disappointed. The first time we were both craving pasta and ordered the “vodka pasta”. What a joke. There was almost no sauce on it and the sauce that was there was like a flavorless watery marina. We asked for the manager and she came out and apologized and said that wasn’t the standard they hold themselves to and comped our meal. I will say the Mac and cheese was amazing though when we took it home and heated it up and ate it. The baked Brie appetizer was fantastic as well.
Tonight we just tried it again, hoping that the first time was just an off day for them. The host, Courtney was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. That was the best part of the night. We got the baked Brie again, which wasn’t as warm as the first time, but still okay. Then I ordered the spicy pb&j burger and it was pretty good. My boyfriend had the nerve the order the vodka pasta again… surprise surprise: it was terrible. Completely flavorless. And we both got the Mac and cheese because of how amazing it was last weekend, but instead of the creamy flavorful white cheesy sauce we had the first time, it was a cold, flavorless, chunky orange sauce that honestly made me sick. The service was absolutely terrible from our waitress, I had to go find her after like 15 minutes just to refill our drinks and get us some bread to finish the Brie. We really aren’t that hard to make happy but 73 & main just isn’t up to par at all. They seem to focus all their attention on larger groups instead of giving everyone the same level of attention. We will NOT be back. Ever. Unfortunate.

Last night, our family gathered for two birthdays. We all agreed to go to 73 & Main Mount Pleasant. We had reservations for five people at 5 o’clock. In the past, we’ve always had excellent meals, and the atmosphere is always good. Unfortunately. Last night was an exception. The server Anthony was clearly overwhelmed as there were more patrons than there were servers. We ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers which were good except for my Mom‘s white Russian, which was really mostly milk. When the main course came out, my sister and I both Ordered meat loaf, which was supposed to have a glaze on top, which wasn’t Present, instead, there was barbecue sauce on top. I ordered the broccolini instead Was served cold broccoli. My brothers steak was supposed to be medium and was served to him more than well done. At that point I was finished with the meal, however my family decided to order dessert. They all ordered the bread pudding that was served cold. I spoke to the hostess and asked her plainly whether or not they were having staffing problems that evening, and she didn’t exactly say yes but implied that they were having some issues. She was very polite, and I made sure that I spoke to her Candidly not to disturbed the other customers. They offered us four new desserts to take with us to go, which we did. I was very disappointed there aren’t very many restaurants that are close by and usually 73 & Main In Mount Pleasant, and the local room and Locust are our go to places. Last night we made the wrong decision and I’m not entirely sure we’ll be going back Anytime soon. I did pay the entire bill and left a adequate tip as I could see. It was clearly not the servers problem. It was just a management staffing issue. Below is a picture of my plate. Again, I was very disappointed and so was the rest of my family.

We came to celebrate my and my husband’s birthday, the reservation process was super simple, and the entire experience was very fitting the celebration. From the old fashion , to the bread pudding dessert to go, the immaculate and festive but simple was a success. Anthony was a great server.

Food was fantastic and so was the service! Went out with a party of 11 and it was so smooth! First pic is the aged Ribeye and second is the Prime Rib. Both tasted wonderful and cooked to perfection. Husband had two beers and they were poured beautifully! Desserts were outstanding!

We stumbled upon the restaurant as we were following the directions to the brewery which is at the back of the restaurant. Great breakfast burrito rivaling our favorite from New Mexico. I had a great orange wheat beer, my husband had the Main Street which he really liked. Our server, Mica was so personable and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service from our server Taylor. She was professional, friendly and efficient. True Southern hospitality with a brilliant smile!
73 & Main offers a great selection of cocktails and reasonably priced wine.
The food was good. The calamari tasted like a pre-made frozen batter crusted calamari product. The 16 oz. grilled ribeye was very good. Broccolini that accompanied it was bit underdone. The mushrooms and onions delicious. My wife’s King cut Prime rib had an odd mealy like texture on the outside of the end cut but very flavorful. The brownie from a nearby bakery was decadent.
The decor was clean and pleasant.

Food tasted good – except for the Mac and cheese! We ate burger, prime rib, fish and chips and the chicken special for Saturday the 28th. We dined in and were seated in the bar (in tall chairs). Apparently the store didn’t have enough servers working to seat us at tables. No thanks for that.

My fiance and I went to this restaurant February 13th, and all I can say is the employees here are absolutely wonderful! First, they were all booked up but were able to squeeze us in with a reservation, my fiance told them he was going to propose to me that night and they found time for us! Second our waitress Taylor was absolutely amazing, and understanding, and the manager was very inviting. This place was also not too expensive! We will for sure be coming back!

My wife and I had been looking forward to eating at 73 & Main for a long time and were looking for a reason to go out of our way to grab a meal here. Celebrating a birthday was reason enough, so we made reservations and once we were seated, we ordered the 1/2 brie cheese wheel with jelly, honey drizzle and crackers as an appetizer. My wife ordered the sesame tuna with green beans and I ordered the prime ribe rib with the bacon mac and cheese.
After watching people who were seated after us get their salads and entrees, I’m happy to report that after 30 minutes our brie finally arrived to the table. We had to remind the waitress that it also came with jelly. We should not have waited so long for something so basic, sorry.
My wife’s tuna, ordered medium rare, was overcooked, next to no sauce and what sauce was on there was in the crispy wontons and not the tuna.
My prime rib was tender and flavorful. My bacon mac and cheese had no flavor and tasted like it was made from a box the day before, refrigerated, then reheated. Just disappointing.
My wife and I had high hopes for the 73 & Main experience as we’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Unfortunately, after a disappointing dinner, we will not be back.
The quality of food does not match price point.
