First time here, it was delicious! They have burgers, chicken, paty melts, salads and shakes. I added fresh avocado and bacon to my burger that they lettuce wrapped. It was fresh and hot. Also the fries and onion rings were amazing.

Actually, I was again pleased! It has been awhile since I first ate at the Original Habit. My grandson graduated from UCSB in 2017 and it was our favorite dining place after his baseball game! My husband couldn’t stop raving about how delicious his cheese burger tasted! We will revisit the Habit!

Is it necessary to change $0.60 for what amounts to $0.02 of sauce? Corporate really ruined Habit. Used to be a good deal, now it’s over $20 for a combo meal and y’all have the gall to charge an additional $0.60 for a measly dipping sauce? Treat your customers with some respect and they’ll come back with friends. Nickel and dime them, good luck staying in business.

Don’t miss the chance to ask for peppers to be placed on top – it adds a delicious kick. They also provide hot peppers on the side for an extra flavor boost. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate guests.

First time there- arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday. Kind of a busy area, parking was a little tricky. I had to park a block away and walk. I got an Impossible burger and fries and it was pretty good. They have plenty of outdoor seating but I got mine to go. I’d go back for a quick meal. Pricing was great! Only spent $13.

Wow, the original is here! The first time we have already noticed an intense, awesome smoke and barbecue smell from a large distance. We followed the cloud of smoke and saw a long line of people queuing up to the street. That’s how we discovered habit Burger and since then we love the food there. The burgers are always made fresh and grilled on charcoal. The No. 2 combo is just perfect. The meat is extemely delicious and has a very high quality – everything comes from the region. You also have to try the other dishes like the steak sandwich or the tuna sandwich. Super tasty. Everything is topped off with delicious side dishes like crispy fries or onion rings. The shakes are also amazing. If I could, I would come here every day. Nice, quick service and free pickled chillis complete the offer.

Good place for a burger and fries.this is the original location. Recommend the regular burger over the Santa Barbara version, which didn’t work for me. Try the chili cheese fries as well, they are off menu I guess but they are a notch below Tommy’s chili fries so quite tasty (super greasy lol).

The Original Habit location! Excellent, as always. First time trying to Santa Barbara Char – essentially a burger on Texas toast. Very tasty! BBQ Bacon Char is also a great choice. You can smell The Habit’s grill from blocks away. Always fresh, always delicious.
