We visited for brunch on Friday. It wasn’t very busy, there were three of us, two adults and a child. The place was immaculate, clean, fresh. The employee could not have been more polite and the food was nothing less than delicious. I could not complain about anything. Everything was perfect, including my company.

We had chosen the restaurant based on the user reviews and honestly just mortified with the actual experience.
For starters we had ordered the artisanal cheese plate sounded good on paper but highly disappointed when we were served the plate, confused that we had honey and a berry compote but with no bread or crostini to accompany the cheese. This lead to our second mistake of ordering a separate bread basket which took almost a half hour to show up to the table, if I would have known that I was going to served sliced hamburger buns and grilled sandwich bread I wouldn’t have bothered on spending the additional $12. No on to the entree what a disgrace for a Greek restaurant to serve falafel the way we had received, burned dry and flavorless, the other was a salmon sandwich, salmon over cooked dry and smothered in a flavorless Greek yogurt topping.
Needless to say a lunch taking an hour and a half costing over $70 with poor slow service below average food was the recipe for disaster.
We will never be going back.

My boyfriend and I joined Ya Mas for Valentine’s Day dinner, and we both had a wonderful time! New additions to the restaurant and it’s always beautifully themed. Staff is amazing and drinks are always perfect!

Our server Maria was marvelous and super personable and warm. The atmosphere is truly something to behold. They put a lot of effort into decorating. Especially for the holidays. They make the space memorable and comfortable. The quality of the food is authentic and delectable. It was perfection. 10/10 picture shows only a fraction of the Valentine’s Day decor.

Finally made it to Ya Mas Greek Taverna & Bar in Salem, NH on our way back to MA — this spot has been on my foodie hit list forever. The décor was warm, festive, & so inviting. We came specifically for the Pikilia of Olympus, a mixed grill platter loaded with all the Greek classics — basically a meat lover’s dream. Our waiter, Sotoris, was fantastic & the whole place had such an authentic Greek vibe. Safe to say… I’m already planning my next visit.

Visited over the weekend to take my mom & hunny out for a yummy meal and Christmas vibes & this place did NOT disappoint The restaurant was beyond anything you could expect for Christmas feel and decor and the service was top notch even though it was packed up. The decor was unreal and they decorate like that for the major Holidays, e.g., Christmas, Easter and Halloween, a quasi-holiday I guess LOL, but a celebration for many nonetheless.
The menu was varied, had true vegetarian or vegan options, was loaded with meats if course, but the food was outrageously delicious and the portions were HUGE! Food to take-home food for sure!
Mert, our waiter, was very attentive and welcoming. The Manager surprised my wife with a little basket of gift items whereas it was her birthday.

This place does massive decorations for major holidays. I’ve been there for Christmas and Valentines day ( not on the actual day). They leave the decorations up for an entire month. Food is exceptional and service is great.

Best espresso martini mocktail. The food was good. We had the Mediterranean sampler, which was quite an experience, we would order it again. The Spicy Fig Tyropitakia not that great, it was too oily. The service was great, and you know the place is authentic when you see Greeks eating there.
