We popped in for breakfast on the way to Timberline. We were welcomed by the incredibly friendly Michelle. We ordered an omelet and stack of blueberry pancakes. The seasoned potatoes were tasty and the berries sweet. Michelle checked on us frequently. Highly recommend. Paid $43 all in.

We were headed back home and stopped for dinner. Very quiet on the restaurant side bar was bustling. Our food was AWESOME we ordered Surf & Turf we couldn’t eat it all. Big servings and the service was excellent ❤️ We have eaten here a few times when we lived on this side of the mountain. It’s always been GREAT!!!

We’ve been going to Sandy family for close to 7 years now and have always loved the food, drinks, and long time servers who we recognize and recognize us and love seeing our family when we come in and have watched our kids grow from baby carriers to walking & talking. I would say the last dozen times we have had not so great experiences but Sunday (1/24) was by far the worst. We were seated no problem, brought menus right away, and then were completely forgotten about for a half hour… no drink order, no waters, nothing. Let me add we were 1/4 tables in the dining room. One gentlemen was sat and forgot about also, no drink order after 15 minutes and he actually got up and left. Once we were able to get drink orders in, we placed our food order the same time since we had enough time to decide what we wanted. Aside from already being there 30 minutes, our food took an additional 40 minutes, my nacho which only had chicken and cheese came out cold, my husband and daughters food were lukewarm, and our drinks were forgotten about & still no waters. Once we finally received our drinks, our waitress became MIA and never returned not to ask for drink/water refills, extra sauces, nothing. Another table was having the same frustration from my knowledge, by watching them pass our table to walk up to the counter just to ask for things because they weren’t being waited on either or having to wait at the counter cause our waitress was no where to be seen. At one point, instead of checking on our table we watched our waitress mop the floor beside us… To say the least we use to love coming here until the service started declining tremendously. We hadn’t been back in some time for the same reason and wanted to give it a try because we truly love supporting our small town restaurants but after this last experience we were reminded why we stopped coming…

Super cozy, great coffee, food was hot and crispy. Incredibly delicious. However they do their diced potatoes is phenomenal. Meal was hot all the way through to the very end.! Will be coming back!

First time I came here was with family. We frequently come here when we are in town. This time, I had a basic breakfast of seasoned potatoes, 2 eggs and ham with sourdough toast. Everything was great & filling. Prices were average, the service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

First time visit, pleasantly surprised
I recently visited the Sandy Family Restaurant for the first time. Initially, I was concerned because there were no customers in the dining area; everyone was in the bar. However, we decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. The food was basic but fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Dropped in on a Sat for a late lunch. Place was quiet, the service, food and the vibe was upbeat. Excellent country tunes! Neice had the kids burger and fries which was an adult size burger, okay an adult with a modest appetite. Fries were excellent too! They serve breakfast all day. I had biscuits and gravy with an added egg. Super satisfying, took half home. It was perfect! We always get strawberry lemonade and it did not disappoint if you love it sweet too. We plan to come back!
