I brought my family here because of all the good things I’ve heard, and we were not disappointed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the nicest host, who sat us at a booth as we requested in making the reservation. Our server was beyond amazing, he was very attentive and patient cause we couldn’t decide on what to get off the great menu. I finally decided to get there famous crab cakes, my dad got the shrimp and grits (which he says is the best he’s ever tasted), and my mom got the salmon. All was so delicious. We got a free dessert since it was my moms birthday and the was the cherry on top of our whole experience. Definitely recommend eating here!!!

Caribsea was a solid place the moment we arrived. They took good care of us and were kind to our kids. It’s always nice when a place can manage to be fine dining and not look down on kids joining in on the experience. The filet was cooked well and tasted great, and the sides were amazing as well. Their Mac n’ Cheese tasted authentic, which was very nice! Parking is easy, finding it is a little strange if you’re new to the area. If we revisit we will most certainly be back.

This was an excellent last moment find for a upscale dinner out. Let me say this was almost 5 stars for me and I will certainly go back to Caribsea, but a couple minor details and issues kept me from the max rating. Generally agree with the 4.5 star rating it gets here on google maps.

The cocktails were good. I tried the Nautical Reserve followed by old fashioned. They muddled a cherry in the old fashion, presenting a beach vacation vibe. Those that got them enjoyed their seasonal martinis.

The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the cold crab dip (they swap from hot during the summer apparently) was a solid app, though some was left at the end, so perhaps our group would have preferred the hot version. They do serve nice dinner rolls and butter, so consider that as well.

The issue with service: The sides are presented on menu as a la carte, and we asked if it was family style – to which we were told yes. However all the specials (“features”) came with sides as did a steak a group member ordered. We ended up with an unnecessary amount of food, one of which was- the Mac n Cheese – was mediocre. This was billed by our waitress as nice a creamy and it came bland and heavy. On the flip side the collard greens were exceptional and every team member raved about them. Creamed spinach was also on point, but again collards stole the show. The clam chowder is good, and filling, though very clam forward so you better love clam!

The issue with the food: Every member of the group found it slightly under seasoned/under salted. Granted too little can be self corrected and too much cannot so best to err on this side of that fence. Two of us got the wahoo feature and it and the risotto were excellent! Except just another pinch of salt would’ve been desirable. 3 of our group members asked for them to bring it out. While I didn’t feel it was egregious enough for me to salt my risotto, everyone else added salt to their dish. Since this was confirmed across our party I had to mention it. Other than that the filet was well executed and the burger is a home run. I stole a bite when one group member couldn’t finish and wow!

We went early around 6pm so no wait. It really did fill up fast! The atmosphere was nice, modern and clean and we got the story behind the theming which was really neat. As the restaurant is on the 3rd floor of a commercial building you can get views to the ocean and sound depending on table location. Overall, a delightful experience, and would highly recommend!

We had 5:00 reservations for four to celebrate my 70th birthday.. we were seated promptly and greeted by our waitress Christina. She took our drink order, and told us about the Valentine dinner specials. She was very knowledgeable about all of the menu selections.
Food arrived promptly, hot and so tasty.
Christina checked on us throughout our dinner, refilling water and drinks and even surprised me with a birthday dessert.
We will certainly return and can’t wait for the rooftop lounge to open

I hosted my company’s employee appreciation dinner at Caribsea. My employees have not stopped talking about how amazing the food and atmosphere was. The rooftop bar, pre dinner hang was amazing. The management was a pleasure to communicate with while choosing the menu. An absolute professional experience from start to finish.

My wife and I booked a table for my mother-in-laws birthday. We were sat immediately in a booth (which we had asked for in a reservation). Our waiter was at our table very quickly and was very kind and attentive. Everything from the complimentary bread to the drinks were delicious. I got the grouper and it was probably the best fish dish that I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place!

Came here for a New Years dinner, and will never come again. Few things to note:
– Awful music to dine to. Sad, emotional music was playing while we were there to have a good time, not sulk.
– Our waitress was extremely rude, the food runners were the star of the night. For a party of 11+ I’d expect better.
– Limited dinner menu with poor descriptions.
– No champagne was brought out, even though it was included in our $140 meal PER PERSON.
– Waitress told us to go to the bar to order drinks when we had a private room reservation.
– Running out ingredients is unacceptable when we made reservations weeks in advance. BE PREPARED. If needed, run to the Publix next door.
– For a $140 dinner per person, the food wasn’t great. Steaks were overcooked and not worth the price. My 12 year old cousin can cook better than this place.
– For a dinner that is THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, I would expect better.

Overall, this place cannot be considered one of the best dining places in Emerald Ilse. It’s a joke, who does not care about their guests and dining experience and is there to take your money.

Caribsea has truly become a neighborhood staple for our us and our go‑to spot when entertaining out‑of‑town friends and family. The service is consistently excellent—Christina and the entire bartending team deserve special recognition.
Christina’s professionalism mixed with a warm welcome is part of why we keep coming back.
The food is outstanding across the board. The crab cake and clam chowder are hands‑downs our favorites, the nightly seafood specials never disappoint, and even the burger is absolutely off the chart. Not to mention the ice cream sandwiches!
From the exceptional service and incredible food to the drinks and overall atmosphere, everything keeps us coming back time and time again. Looking forward to our next visit—see you soon!

The crab cake and claim chowder soup were the best we have ever had, and we are from Boston. They put Seafood Legal to shame. Wonderful service. Crystal our waitress was professional, attentive, patient, and great to converse with. The sunset view through the window was a treat. Well worth every dollar. Highly recommended.

This place never disappoints. I love the price fixed menu offered on Mondays and Tuesdays (especially when they feature the crab cakes). But the kids eat free night on Wednesdays is awesome too….especially when you combine that with the credit you can get from American Express because they are a Resy restaurant! It’s basically a free night out for mom and dad!
Staff is super attentive and welcoming. The bourbon selection is top notch. My wife loves the Salt Air Margarita.
Bottom line, this place rocks!
