This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots on Staten Island. The atmosphere is great with a really clean modern bar, TVs for the games, and a lively dining room that makes it perfect whether you’re going out with friends or just grabbing dinner.
The pizza here is phenomenal. The crust has that perfect crisp with a soft center and the ingredients taste really fresh. Every time I come here I end up ordering pizza because it is just that good. It is easily some of the best pizza on Staten Island.
What surprised me the most though is how strong the rest of the menu is. The appetizers are excellent. The fried calamari was fresh and perfectly cooked and the mozzarella sticks were loaded with flavor. You can tell the kitchen really cares about the food they put out.
They also serve great steaks which makes the place even better if you are going with people who want something different than pizza. The menu has a really nice balance between classic Italian dishes, appetizers, pizza, and steak options.
The service has always been friendly and the vibe inside makes you want to stay for a while, especially if you are sitting near the bar watching a game.
Highly recommend this spot if you are on Staten Island. It has amazing pizza, great appetizers, and solid steaks all in one place. Definitely worth checking out.

Always a great experience coming to Goodfellas, delicious food, great staff. Just amazing. I came here with my partner on New Year’s Eve and got a gluten free pesto shrimp pizza, he got the duck fat infused pork chop… chefs kiss ☺️ Our waitress Sheila B was a gem. Happy and blessed new year everyone ❤️

Goodfellas Pizza School is the real deal.
The 4-day class wasn’t just a course — it was a full experience. From dough fundamentals to technique, workflow, and the why behind every step, I learned so much more than I expected. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in their students’ success.
And the restaurant itself is outstanding. I ate nearly everything on the menu, and every single item was excellent. The variety is impressive, the quality is top-notch, and it’s clear the food is being made by true professionals who care deeply about their craft.
I’m beyond excited to take what I learned and start implementing it. If you’re serious about pizza and want to level up, this experience is absolutely worth it.

The appetizers were great got the stuffed mushrooms and baked clams, baked clams were a little on the saltier side. Lobster bisque was wonderful too.
Pizza was the star of the show, got the vodka and smoking goodfella halves and it was extremely good.
The service was wonderful, Kaitlyn was great and very helpful and the Owner Scott was an awesome guy, came to talk and check on us.

Goodfellas is the number 1 trattoria in Staten Island. No restaurant compares 2 Andrew Scudera and Scot Cosentino’s beautifully decorated restaurant in Great Kills. I moved away from SI in 2009 and dine at Goodfellas every time I visit my parents. Their sauces are authentic and passed down from generations. One of my friends who is a Pittsburgh PA judge went all the way there and enjoyed everything immensely. All because I told them to go there while visiting NYC. The owners are family oriented and love their business. They are number 1 in customer service and their pizza and entrees are all recipes from their family in Sicily. I only go 2 Goodfellas! I cannot wait 2 learn how to throw a pizza around when I attend their pizza making school. Totally worth 1500 for the classes. My parents own a restaurant 2 and I could cook every cuisine. My bucket list is to throw a pizza around better than Andrew! Kind of difficult because Andrew is a better chef than Francis Garcia.

The clam pie had huge pieces of raw garlic. I love garlic, but this was beyond too much. The fried Calamari was 70% purple legs. Guys love them, girls not so much. The lobster ravioli smelled and tasted overwhelmingly fishy and the sauce was nasty. We were a party of 12 and were sat upstairs. The service was extremely slow and lacking. The waitress disappeared for lengthy periods and did not keep us supplied with condiments and such. No s&p, grated cheese, red pepper, sugar and tiny amount of creamer. The coffee was about 6 hours old. From start to finish, we were there for over 3 hours. Ridiculous.
Not sure what happened to this place, but it certainly has tanked

Let’s go!!!! Good fellas review starts now. We’ll start with the decor, it doesn’t seem like it but there’s actually an open area in the back. There’s a little place with a fire oven next to the parking lot, and there is a parking lot on the right side of the restaurant. But I see plenty of street parking too. It took a while for us to get seated maybe because of the weekday and it was a school day in the afternoon so I guess not much people eat at the time so they had fewer staff. But it was all good they sat us down once they got a chance and the server was very pleasant. Everything took a bit longer but we were enjoying ourselves chatting in the back and playing with lantern flies lol. There’s mosquitos too so avoid that during the summer. The taste of the food is excellent. The pizza was not my thing though. I grew up in the 80s and the kind of pizza is just the simple toppings, and tomato sauce that’s it for me. It might be good to someone else so no points off for that, it’s just not my thing. The clam was very good, I love baked clams and these were fabulous. The lemon juice was just right and it hit the spot. The artichoke was a little off just because of the outside layer was no ripped off completely so I had to spit it out. Nothing to complaint about. Highly recommend anyone to try this place. Just some minor stuff I think they can improve on. Overall a good experience and I would definitely go again.
