Clam chowder was good. Steak and salmon were undercooked. My husband asked for medium rare and it was straight up rare. Pieces of my salmon were undercooked in the middle. Went over 30 mins without being able to get a refill on our water. Waited forever just to be greeted before someone came to the front to seat us and waited even longer to be spoken to once seated. We were expecting a nice relaxing dinner and instead were irritated the entire time as the bar butts up to where you sit and everyone was drunk, obnoxious, and screaming the entire time. My husband and I legit couldn’t even talk without having to repeat ourselves multiple times and almost screaming. I get having a good time but there should be some separation between the two. We will not return to this place.

Our waitress Rosey K was exceptional tonight. The Restaurant was slammed and she juggled our table and all those around us with great service and a personal touch. When she was unable to get to us at a couple of points, other wait staff or management backed her and helped out. All told, great service experience.

Our waitress was so sweet! My friend’s pizza was burned so she didn’t bring it out with our meals, but brought him a complimentary salad while he waited and she gave him a discount on his meal for having to wait just a bit longer. The food was all delicious, the portions were big especially the fried pickles appetizer. There was a nice view of the golf course and it was decorated seasonally with some fall decor outside.
My friends and I are in our 30s and were the youngest looking people in the room, but the vibes were nice and food came out fast and fresh. Really nice experience and highly recommend.

Visited Bistro 1926 for the first time since this Drumlin golf course restaurant was run by Pascal’s. It has great atmosphere whether you dine al fresco on the patio in the summer or inside overlooking the golf course. We did not need reservations for an early dinner on a Tuesday evening. I was happy to see two regional dishes from the Utica area on the menu, Utica Greens and Chicken riggies. Two of us chose the Utica Greens as an appetizer. The taste was fairly good but the dish lacked sufficient prosciutto or diced pancetta to round it out. Consequently, the first few bites were really enjoyable but as it cooled it took on a one-note flavor. There was spicy heat to the dish, but very few promised cherry peppers. For my main, I ordered chicken riggies. It too lacked sufficient cherry peppers even though I ordered it hot. The ones that were present we’re either tiny bits or larger slices from the tough stem end and not palatable. Also the chicken was sharply cut into firm cubes which did not absorb the sauce or flavors. In my opinion, torn or shredded chicken works better in this dish, which I have had in many restaurants in upstate New York, and also make at home using the original Joe Morelli recipe. Both these dishes were okay, but I wouldn’t order them again here. For dessert, we took home a slice of their carrot cake to share and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great place for a nice evening out, watching the golfers through the big picture windows while you eat dinner. Met some friends for a casual evening dinner. Generous wine pour. Great menu choices. I had a chicken dish with risotto,asparagus, roasted grape tomatoes and black olives in Lemon sauce. Very yummy. My friend had the halibut with fingerling potatoes all in a delicious creme freche with herbs, well worth the price. The other dish was a pasta with chicken. Huge portion at a reasonable price. Desserts are a choice of 4 cakes, pistachio cheesecake, carrot cake chocolate cake and berry cakes. All looked very tempting.

Crispy on the outside soft on the inside nicely seasoned. The atmosphere was overlooking this beautiful golf course. Service was attentive and pretty. And the cake I had for dessert, the crepe cake. Was something delicious that I wasn’t expecting. The only negative is the price. However, you do get what you pay for.

This was my first time eating here and it was amazing! From our hostess Maya, to our serve Rosie. Customer service was exceptional. The manager was also very present. I have celiac disease and we shared an amazing cauliflower crust pizza as an appetizer and then I had a steak, while he got chicken riggies. Our server double checked everything to make sure I would not be at risk to being exposed to gluten. Maya was also on top of our waters. 10/10 recommend

The flavor of the French onion soup was great, the texture not so much. The bistro burger was lacking and the shrimp casear salad not anything special. Out of three shrimp, one was severely charred and unpleasantly acrid. The service was very pleasant and consistent. However, we waited for what seemed like forever for food and the places was not busy at all. There were 4 tables total seated (not counting few folks at the bar). I did not complain about the shrimp only because I waited so long for the food to begin with. The atmosphere is nice because of the windows at light. Would not likely go again to eat, but perhaps for a drink.
